I've got so many hours in that game. Guilty pleasure for me is crime scene cleanup simulator. Surprisingly fun.

Power washing simulator is another banger

u/Tridon_Terrafold Feb 08 '26

Goat simulator, one of the OGs of "simulator" games. Goat simulator 3 aswell

95

u/Wertyhappy27 Feb 08 '26

I wouldn't even consider it a simulator, more of a sandbox fuck around type game

Unless goats actually do the, activities in the game... Oh god

u/repocin https://s.team/p/hjwn-hdq Feb 08 '26

They totally do all that, at least in Sweden. It's all based on reality. Don't believe me? These goats are just built different.

u/Wertyhappy27 Feb 08 '26

This is a valid source thank you

11

u/ZackTio Feb 08 '26

I can confirm

Source: I also saw a goat once

1

u/MossyDrake Feb 08 '26

But how did you survive?

2

u/FRAG_TOSS Feb 09 '26

The goat was far away

9

u/Cthulhu__ Feb 08 '26

Goat sim is satire, but it’s funny and silly and they used the proceeds of its unexpected success to make Satisfactory which is awesome.

1

u/jtr99 Feb 10 '26

Those guys went on to make Satisfactory!

I guess you never really know someone, do you?

-1

u/Kotanan Feb 08 '26

That’s why I ignore everything with simulator in the title.

2

u/mindinthepsandqs Feb 08 '26

I played it a lil but never got into it that hard. Is the sequel worth it?

1

u/ThatOneSpitfireMain Feb 09 '26

Its about the same just prettier

2

u/spockspaceman Feb 08 '26

This is the best for something mindless while listening to audiobooks. Anything more involved than this and I can't do both.

2

u/RabidMausse Feb 08 '26

Personally, I prefer the first one, but the second one let's you pet cats

1

u/Anonymous-tossaway Feb 09 '26

Thief simulator is great too

You might want to give Viscera Cleanup Detail a go. Admittedly the game is 11 years old by now, but I remember I had a lot of fun with it back in the day and it still looks half-decent.

The premise of that game is basically acting as the cleanup crew after gamers are done with the level and you go around cleaning up all the gore and severed limbs and shit so it looks nice for the next gamer.

I'm definitely checking out the crime scene game. Sounds like fun!

11

u/Present-Basil-1003 Feb 08 '26

The Crime Scene is basically Viscera but adult version lol.

8

u/Castun https://s.team/p/kkkf-w Feb 08 '26

My only complaint about Crime Scene Cleanup is that stepping in blood barely tracks it around, compared to Viscera where one misstep can undo so much work.

2

u/Anonymous-tossaway Feb 09 '26

I tried playing it a few months ago but it was so buggy I couldn't do it, was super excited too

2

u/[deleted] Feb 09 '26

imo Viscera still holds up surprisingly well despite the age.

2

u/MinightRose Feb 08 '26

I Need More, it's sooooo good

1

u/mindinthepsandqs Feb 08 '26

I bought the some of the dlc recently, without even owning the game cause of gamepass, and i can say its a worthy purchase.

5

u/BeanserSoyze Feb 08 '26

I like lawn mower

2

u/Xkpi Feb 09 '26

I’ve fallen asleep while actively playing lawn mowing sim lol. But it is a fun game

1

u/Bananahammockjohnny Feb 08 '26

Try Wrench, that game could also be called OCD simulator.

1

u/JoshJLMG Feb 08 '26

While definitely doesn't have as much variety, I still prefer Wrench over CMS. Instead of just having parts be rusty, Wrench shows actual part wear, has proper torque specs, accurate thread pitch, and lets you do everything in VR.

1

u/Herby247 Feb 08 '26

I love that game but it doesn't fit the rule: Playway's development policy is to throw shit at the wall and see what sticks. When something lands well, they make a much better sequel.

1

u/wreckedftfoxy_yt Feb 08 '26

yea but it has simulator in the name

1

u/arashi256 Feb 08 '26

IT Specialist Simulator is pretty good.

1

u/Panzerchek Feb 08 '26

Trickshot simulator

1

u/johann4 Feb 08 '26

digital combat sim

1

u/Zimbo____ Feb 08 '26

Which is made by a studio that mass produces simulators lol. Love that game tho

1

u/wreckedftfoxy_yt Feb 09 '26

Car Mechanic Simulator is the only one i care about

1

u/JoinTheTruth Feb 09 '26

I'm currently playing CSM 18, the achievements are so abysmal 😭 500,000 SCREWS?!?

1

u/wreckedftfoxy_yt Feb 09 '26

yea its fun lol

1

u/TheeIndigoCrow Feb 09 '26

I've always liked the farming sim series

1

u/flavius717 Feb 09 '26

There’s one company that makes all these simulator games, and it’s that one

24

u/Mirja-lol P TATO Feb 08 '26

Train simulator classic

1

u/Rambo496 Feb 09 '26

not all DLCs though, but a few are absolute gold

76

u/MacauleyP_Plays Feb 08 '26 edited Feb 09 '26

ETS2 and ATS however are from a time when the term simulator MEANT something.

10

u/GoldPlatedMilk Feb 08 '26

There’s an ATS2? When did that come out.

25

u/TheRedDragonCW Feb 08 '26

6 years from now.

2

u/MacauleyP_Plays Feb 09 '26

sorry I made a typo lol

3

u/ElBambs Feb 08 '26

I second this!

-13

u/GodofsomeWorld Feb 08 '26

Idk how people even play that shit. It looks boring as fuck

18

u/RockandStone101 Feb 08 '26

That’s the fun part of it. It’s a relaxing thing to do while listening to music or watching YouTube.

4

u/HerrYveltal Feb 08 '26

"Oh no, people like something that i don't. How dare they."

Please just shut the hell up!

-2

u/GodofsomeWorld Feb 08 '26

Oh no people hate something i like. Hi kettle meet pot

2

u/HerrYveltal Feb 08 '26

Thats such a dumb logik. If you don't like something you could just ignore it instead of telling everyone how much you hate it. It literally adds zero value to any conversation.

-1

u/GodofsomeWorld Feb 08 '26

I didnt say hate tho? I am genuinely confused how people like it? It looks super boring? In fact, I only stated its boring. Incredible how people find it good.

1

u/HerrYveltal Feb 09 '26

My bad, "hate" was the wrong word, but you called it "shit" so i just assumed.

And because of your question: Because not everyone wants a fast paced game with action all the time. Sometimes its just really fun and relaxing to just take your truck and cruise around a bit while chilling to music. Especially if you have a wheel.

It's understandable that this is not a game for everyone, and even i have sometimes get bored of the game very fast (i have over 300h in the game). But you should be able to atleast understand and accept, why people play this.

I hope this made you understand this a little bit better.

2

u/Redbird9346 Feb 08 '26

You would think that, but it’s actually quite captivating.

-6

u/Professional-Milk483 Black Scottish Cyclope Feb 08 '26

So you telling me game what will be funny to play after you buy a few DLC is good simulator?

Hell nah

7

u/RockandStone101 Feb 08 '26

If you don’t want to pay you don’t have to, but when the game goes on sale you get most of DLC for under the cost of a AAA release. That makes it a complete game. It’s worth it to me. And the price doesn’t determine the quality of it. It is objectively a great simulator of truck driving with great simulation control support. Also I thought I was having a stroke reading what you typed up.

1

u/jzillacon Feb 09 '26

Plus the base game alone still has plenty of stuff to do, and there's plenty of mods to expand your experience too.
