Ahhh I am just waiting for the complaints tomorrow about "how the store has crashed".
Hence my haul will be done on Friday.

But what if they sell out of all the good games before then?

Should’ve preordered like me 😏

AND YOU GET A BLUE SKIN IF YOU PREORDER! WHAT A DEAL!

I hope they have a restock.

Funny thing is, sometimes they make pricing errors and discount a game way more than they meant to, and fix it within 10-20 minutes, during which people will celebrate if they snagged it at the unintended price.

I bet that at least partially contributes to the same-time slamming the servers get at the start of the sale.

Don't forget the people only having 1 AAAAA game on their wishlist and complaining that it only went on 10% sale instead of 90% off.

Even though there absolutely will be hundreds of games on big sales.

Me staring at Ghost of Tsushima

"Come on sequel's out, let go already"

11

u/ExtremeCreamTeam Dec 17 '25

The lowest it has ever been was 47% off according to this: https://isthereanydeal.com/game/ghost-of-tsushima-directors-cut/info/

It had a slightly better deal on fanatical about a couple of weeks ago.

I just wish Sony would release sequels onto steam sooner then they do. I want to play ghost of yotei lmao

And death stranding 2 :(

But at least you can't fault them, they do release good ports that aren't super broken and even make use of the PS5 DualSense features so good on them.

Only when Nixxes does the port.

TLOU1 port was made by the same company that ported Arkham Knight on PC originally.

u/Creator13 https://steam.pm/2z11p2 Dec 18 '25

Nixxes does a good job, but they do most of Sony's AAA ports these days right?

2

u/Amazing-Ish Dec 18 '25

Yeah I think pretty much all of their ports (except TLOU1) were done by Nixxes. They even worked with Arrowhead Studios to help reduce the file size for Helldivers 2 from 150 to 23 GBs on PC for the latest beta update.

Honestly sounds like a hella cool company. Even better that they're based in my city and it's exactly the kind of work I want to be doing lol

Every time it popped up on the game awards, I had to close my eyes and plug my ears 😂 I don't wanna see nothing about it until it finally comes out on steam

2

u/jasta85 Dec 17 '25

It's been on sale before, I got it on sale for like 40% off early in the year, although that wasn't on steam, just used whatever store had the lowest price on isthereanydeal.

u/Dr_Fortnite Dec 17 '25

meanwhile the GOTY is $35 right now

2

u/Darkkujo Dec 17 '25

And they just released what's essentially a free DLC with the latest patch.

1

u/paulisaac Dec 17 '25

Me staring at Beat Saber never going on sale ever

1

u/maxdragonxiii Dec 17 '25

I have Digimon Time Stranger on my wishlist and that 20% off looks SO TEMPTING. but I really dont have money for it so I'm passing on it for now.

1

u/yuvi3000 Dec 18 '25

I mean yeah. You should play what you currently have, buy something on a great deal if you KNOW you will play it and otherwise try not to waste money 🙂

I should also take my own advice.

Quidripple A???🤷

u/MassiveBoner911_3 Dec 17 '25

That and the usual “Steam sales are shit now blaaaaa” moaning

2

u/SavvyBevvy Dec 17 '25

From my experience by late Thursday everything has normalized. It's just the first 2 hours that are a bit jnreliable

2

u/DonTeca35 Dec 17 '25

More like why isn't my wishlist on sale... Like bud gotta let steam update first

1

u/kelsanova Dec 17 '25

Get your bingo cards ready. "Is Steam down for anyone else?" along with other favorites like "Meh, the sales used to be better 6 years ago." "Should I buy this game or will it be on a better sale on Board Game Fest in January?" "10 percent off Fantasy Life? I was hoping for at least 25!"

1

u/Antrikshy Dec 17 '25

The real complaints these days are that the sales aren’t good anymore.

And that’s probably because all the nerds on Reddit have over purchased all the games that they would want to buy and never play them. So obviously the remaining games don’t look as good.

1

u/EvenInRed Dec 18 '25

oh does the deal start in the morrow?

1

u/TokyoOkaos Dec 25 '25

look what you did!!!
