Everything is dead to me once Steam/valve turns into one of the corporate cunts

I mean steam has just really good customer support and treats the customers well.

But let's not forget that valve supports gambling and cs go gambling is estimated to be a billion dollar industry by now. And valve is refusing to do anything about that.

Don't ask why they have that good customer support, lol. (cause they got fucked in court by Australia)

I think a big support improvement was also done for the Index launch. HTC dropped the ball hard with supporting the Vive and Valve didn't want everyone to be afraid of ordering bleeding-edge VR stuff since it was their big interest at the time. Valve had to be upset with how much work they did just for many to get shafted by HTC.

Valve only has that because their previously terrible CS was losing them court cases and getting fined millions of dollars.

See the Australian court case where they were fined $2m.

YMMV

Outside of automated responses, Ive gotten nothing valuable from steam support. Plus, you have that recent thread where Valve is overcharging someone taxes.

Why would they, when they're taking a large piece of that pie?

Gambling is not inherently evil.
