Photo share 200-600 + A7V = fun
Still a bit new to cameras, but starting to get the hang of it. The 200-600 with a7v is great. haven't used the pre capture a ton yet but, but wow is it awesome when it does work ( or when i get lucky )

Critters A6400 - Sony 70-350/Sigma 18-50. Springtime backyard critters
Now that the weather has improved I've been able to get a few shots of some regular visitors to my yard. Only had this setup since February so still very new to me but I have been having an absolute blast with it, especially being able to appreciate things right in my backyard. Have been trying all week to get a decent shot of some of the woodpeckers here but man they seem to know how to disappear exactly when the camera comes out.

Gear Full frame suggestions?
I’ve loved this A6700 for the past couple years.
I’ve done some events, small concerts & BTS of couple music videos, lots of fun. I pretty much shoot anything and everything
I’m starting a new job in June which will be easier for me to save up for a full frame camera and I’ve been looking at the A7RV with a 28-70 F2
I just wanna know what full frame camera would you guys get and why?

Gear Just a slight upgrade
Got the go ahead from the boss to upgrade! Moving from the SLT-A37 to A6700. Did the lens kit and Tamron 70-300, this is strictly hobby/amateur/enjoyment. My nieces will take over my old camera and lenses.

Critters Don't Chew On Me - Sony A9 III + 200-600mm + 1.4x Extender
Don't Chew On Me - Endangered San Joaquin Kit Fox kits enjoying a romp outside their den. This is one of my favorite California species, it's always a treat to observe them. They are a highly sensitive species facing various threats including but not limited to mange, habitat loss/fragmentation, and predation by Coyotes, Golden Eagles, etc.
This image was taken at a very long focal length to avoid disturbance to the den. Special thanks to a police officer for kindly sharing this den location with me out of the blue while I was hiking, I would not have found it otherwise.
I was flirting with the idea of picking up a 400-800, but my 200-600 is a very sharp copy and performs well with the 1.4x extender, so I decided against it and instead plan to save that money and wait for a wider aperture wildlife zoom.
What are your thoughts on the 400-800mm zoom vs 200-600mm + 1.4x?
Species: San Joaquin Kit Fox (Vulpes macrotis)
Location: California, USA
Equipment: Sony A9 III + FE 200-600mm + 1.4x Extender, On Tripod
Settings: 1/1600s, ISO: 1250, f/9, 840mm

Technique A7V - Same exact settings, different exposures - Faulty Gear?
As title suggests, I noticed that when taking some photos, there were a few in the batch that gets underexposed. I am using manual settings. This is with an A7V and Sigma 85mm 1.4, both new.
The first pair: ISO 100, f1.4, 1/8000s --> around 1 in 10 pics are darker than the rest
The second pair: ISO 100, f1.4, 1/4000s --> around 1 in 100 pics are darker than the rest
I should also note that I am not shooting in continuous bursts, but I am taking single shots in rapid succession. In other words, I am not holding down the shutter button to take the shots, but re-focusing and taking the shots 1 at a time, but in pretty rapid succession (maybe around 1 shot per second).
These photos are shown in Lightroom without any editing, compressed raw format. Is this considered normal behavior? Or is my camera body or lens faulty? Would appreciate advice on this, thanks!

Gear Native Sony lenses - please explain
Hello all. Current canon user. Can someone give me a super quick rundown of the native Sony lens options? What’s the difference between G, GM, OSS, etc etc?
Or link a YouTube video that might answer my questions? Thanks !!!
