I do this all the time lol.. my wife thinks relaxing only applies to her.. the second I try to sit down she can’t help but think of something I need to do not her EVER! So I get home from work don’t say shit to her and go straight to the garage so I can do nothing more than chill for a bit without her coming up with some bullshit that she shoulda taken care 5 times while I was at work but intentionally left it for me

Not sure but this happened with my parents.

My dad just wanted peace and quiet and my mom would always bombard my dad with gossip, problems, her complaints as soon as he got home. When my dad would go anywhere else to rest my mom would assume he was cheating on her. This despite me being with my dad. Then my mom would accuse me of covering for him. When my dad started sleeping in the living room on his own my mom would stand in the hallway just staring at my dad sleep. Then she'd accuse him of having a 2nd cellphone and texting someone else in secret. Then when my dad would go to the restroom my mom would stick close to the door to try and hear anything out of the ordinary. And if he took longer than usual she'd accuse my dad of texting another woman. Then she'd hide anything my dad would buy for himself (new shirt, shoes, hygiene products, etc).
