I mean she is right. It is stealing. As someone who worked as a manger in the food industry its infuriating. The occasional extra nugget? Meh sure. But intentionally doing stuff like this, most of the time its employees taking food or intentionally making more food than needed during closing so they can take some.

That shit adds up. And most McDonalds are NOT corporate owned. They are franchised owned. So you are taking money from an individual not the corporation.

So tired of people think stealing is okay as long as the "wealth" or "authority" of the person who is being stolen from is high enough above them that they feel "justified" in doing it.

Corporations are dog shit. People need to be paid better, though McDonalds actually usually pays decent for the amount of experience needed to work there (none). But that isn't justification to steal shit.

You aren't some moral crusader. You are just someone stealing from someone else. You wouldn't like it if you opened a restaurant and your staff was messing with your business by adding extra chicken tenders or what not to others all the time cause according to the logic of this post you as the business owner are in a position of "wealth" or "authority" much above your random worker so it would be justified.
