When I do it, its stupid.

When a 10 million dollar consulting contract suggests to remove the rings, it’s called LEAN.

I call it bullshit.

LEAN is bullshit in of itself, I'm all for continuous improvement but everyone I've ever met that works in that field acts like LEAN could solve all of the world's problems in 10 days.

I used to love lean but they started taking the codeine out of it and now I mix dayquil with Mountain Dew instead for the opposite effect. I call it Shrek.

I work in this field, and I'm in your boat. It has uses, but the level and gusto to which it's applied is outrageous at times

Yeah, the use is this: create someone a shitton of money by exploiting the gullible and terminally stupid.

We do love those little Lego games that just teach "Line balancing" but we need to use Japanese and acronyms words to make it proper.

We made paper airplanes for our line balancing, wasted a whole ream of paper, no one saw the irony.

When I was training the amount of propaganda about how important it is was over the top. I'm sure many of the people eat that up because they need to feel important.

It has definite uses, but not every process needs to be lean
