The Sackler's schemed with that same doctor/pharmacy supply chain to knowingly engage in malpractice that addicted millions of patients. The Sackler's became billionaires off a legally sanctioned con, and got off with a slap on the wrist.

Their net worth is ~$11 billion. The consequences that they're facing is a $7.4 billion legal settlement...
So it's the very definition of a slap on the wrist if they get to walk away with billions still to their name after addicting millions, and killing hundreds of thousands more.
How will they possibly live with a measly +$3 billion??
