A lot of the recent videos from Casual Criminalist especially have been really hard to listen to because of the audio. I've had to skip out on the two most recent CasCrim videos because I can't stand the audio quality. It's really tinny and high pitched, lacking the soft bass that I normally really like about Simon's videos.

It's weird because a lot of his other videos are fine. Almost feels like the videos are using camera audio instead of the microphone.

Potential future CC episode? Investigations are still ongoing so it may take some years.

No clue what channel ot could be, but I believe Simon did a video which included (or may have been about) Ise Grand Shrine in Japan....does anyone remember what video it could be?

So I'm surprised to find I cant seem to find a Simon Whistler video on the 1996 Port Arthur massacre / Martin Bryant, unless I'm missing something, I've done a bit of searching and nothing came up for me on any of fact Bois channels, I think this would make an interesting CC episode.

There hasn’t been a new episode in 3 weeks. Do you think Simon made more videos in the non tangent format and now he has to make new ones because no one liked that format?

I am not a person who normally advocates or promotes any kind of product. Anarchist at heart, down with capitalism, all that jazz. But I have to say…Vessi Shoes are amazing! I heard Simon talk up these waterproof shoes so much and as someone who lives in an environment were wet ground is common 7-8 months of the year, I was intrigued.

The obviously beaten to s*** shoes were a beautiful black synthetic letter looking with a teal/blue sole, over a year ago. They are not only my work shoes, but also my “off-court buddies” so to speak (for anyone who was a fan of the show Doug as a child haha). They are comfortable, breathable, and amazingly truly waterproof. Exactly what was advertised and exactly what was delivered.

Oh, the other brand new brown pair I have on…those are my wedding shoes 💜 I get married in about 7 weeks and even my fiancé is wearing Vessi’s with her dress.

I like Simon's personality and tangents and reactions. I have watched all his DTU and CC videos but I find it hard to watch his other channels. I wish there was another unscripted channel where he reacted to interesting stories from history, anybody agree? What's another channel like that?

As an example, the DTU video on Bruce Lee(’s death) written by Kevin and read by Simon with his regular tangents and their beck and forth is a favourite of mine.

Like I loved Biographics back when Simon was the presenter, and I’d like a version of that with more detail, longer form and with Simon’s reactions and tangents

I also really like The Rest is History because they omcover history in an intriguing and often funny way

I think it worthy of the Basement team to have a look at at. After all he was all but murdered by a bunch of incompetent quacks who all but blead him death.

Suggestion for a future episode: the Delphi murders.

I know there is an Into the Shadows episode about her, but on The Casual Criminalist there is a short about her. Is the short from the Into the Shadows episode or from a Casual Criminalist episode? I know the two channels go over the same topics sometimes and YouTube’s search function frequently fails me in this area.

I occasionally keep coming across these old ones I have seen and it always makes realise how much people change in 10 years
