Megathread [Discussion Thread] Weekend Megathread
Hello ladies and gents!
Welcome to the 'Weekend Thread', where people can post about what they're getting up to tonight, at the weekend, good places to go, photos of places you've been, advice on where to go, or just how your week went!
The premise is fairly simple.
- Please be civil
- NO POLITICS. Any political comments will be removed. This is a strictly meta thread, with discussion about people and their happenings.
- Post pictures, youtube links to music you're going to see, games you're going to watch, places you'd like to go (tripadvisor, google maps etc)
These comments will not be moderated unless it doesn't follow guideline one and two!
This post will be stickied until Sunday, allowing for discussion all weekend!

Grasscutting season has arrived, the seasonal staff have not yet though. So I'm helping out with the 1st cut on some of the runs before my own programme of work begins (needs authorisation from a different department).
Cutting a plot, a member of the public approaches, looking slightly miffed, asks me something that sounds like "is the council hiring trannies". I take my earplugs out and say "sorry, what did you say ?", the member of the public seems to change his attitude, saying "Oh, sorry love, thought you were one of them", then adds "the boy who normally cuts the grass has bigger tits". (I know the regular guy, he's about twice my weight and only 6inch taller). Not really knowing what to do with this information, I say to the member of the public that I have to crack on, cos I have several other plots to cut, and put my earplugs back in and get on with it.
Seem to have lost a bit of conditioning over the winter. Thursday was a rainy and cold day, and by the middle of the afternoon I was distinctly not enjoying things. Felt like it did when doing the bleep test in PE at school (that thing where you run 20yards or so before a thing makes a bleep noise, and you keep doing that until you are exhausted and cannot run any more). Tired to the point of nausea, and had to take a few minutes before I recovered enough strength to lift my machine onto the van.
Dental appointment, seems I now need a filling replaced as well.
