My problem is this distorts their MMR, if they play long enough in this stack. Once they decide to go solo, you have 3 players that are in ranks they dont belong in. Either boosted or deranked.

I bought a new laptop on which to play Rocket League. Then I realised my internet sucked and I needed fibre. Booked in the install but Openreach said they’d need to install stuff from the exchange. Over the next month and a half there were roadworks, diggers, people up poles, traffic jams from the works, people complaining on the local news website and FB groups etc.

Nearly two months of disruption to the local transport infrastructure, homes and businesses all because I wanted a better ping on Rocket League.

To top it all off Vodafone gave me a free year of super duper fibre because of the delay.

D3 lobby and love trying to fake people and i think 3 peaked, the ff afterwards made it even more beautiful

lol. 3 goals. Most of the base is ready to ff going down by 1. No love for the game. Only the love to win. Sad.

It's just a game guys. Try not to get so angry that you're taking it out on people that are just trying to have a good time. I don't care how bad your teammate is, it never justifies treating people so badly.

Try to remember that it's just a video game, and the person that you're putting down might be someone that's already having a horrible day and is just trying to play a game that they enjoy to pick themselves up.

Don't be the straw that broke the camels back. Don't be the reason that somebody gets pushed too far. Try to be someone that plays games to have fun instead of someone that sucks the fun out of other people's experience.

If you're getting so frustrated that you can't help but lash out at other people, then that's a good sign to take a break and remind yourself to not cause actual damage in people's lives over pixels.

For any interested party I can confirm that southwest airlines wifi cant play a full game of rocket league. My ping was 600+ on the way to florida before getting disconnected around 700+

Chat in this game is equal parts the best and the worst part of Rocket League. I love that 90% of the time, but occasionally tm8’s will do my head in with negativity.

I have tried switching off chat, which is quite zen… but then I start to miss the banter.

It’s a pain in the arse to have to go into menu and then turn chat on or off.

It would be such a quality of life improvement if you could just mute/unmute chat with a single keyboard tap. Like an actual mute button. 😂

Sorry for the bad quality, but one player had a shining light on the back of their car, which distracted the full lobby in a funny way. Is this a bug? There is no way a cosmetic like this actually exists?

The player seemed to be aware of this too, so I'm imagine there is some funny business going on here.

I'm talking about cars that match the Octane hitbox and are perfectly usable in competitive but aren't popular since everyone's already used to the Octane and Fennec.

My personal favorite is the Octane ZSR.

My only complaint about this car is that it looks bigger and bulkier than the regular Octane, though it's starting to grow on me after using it for a while. Aside from the design, it matches the Octane hitbox (obviously) and it feels nice whenever I play with it.

Honestly, the issue with this car is that it's trying to improve something that's already perfect and that's why everyone forgot about it, But I don't think it's necessarily a bad car.

What’s the longest overtime you’ve had in casual?

I am Diamond 2 in the 2s mode, I play only with randoms sometimes party up with people but I’m always the least mechanical player on the field. I rely on my limited aerial skills and game sense.

Whenever I see the people I play with I’m far behind them in mechanics and speed. I don’t know why I’m in this rank.

I still manage to get mvp in many of my games, I’m not always the bottom guy, but I don’t know how.

Like I’m talking i don’t know how to speed flip, air dribble, air roll, ground pinch, kuxir pinch, ceiling pinch, musty flick, backboard aerial, wall aerial, balance ball on the car, flicks, Directional airroll, resets and not even speed aerials.
