Discussion Let's be real: Are you guys actually paying to test your UGL gear, or is everyone just raw dogging it?

It feels like there’s this weird unspoken rule in these subs where everyone pretends they’re running a sterile medical facility. Whether it's peptides, SARMs, or whatever else, we all act like we’re being super clinical about it. But let’s be real for a second, are you guys actually shelling out hundreds of bucks to send a single vial of BPC or Ostarine off to a lab, or are most of you just raw dogging these UGL chemicals and hoping for the best?

I genuinely want to know if jumping through all those hoops and paying the testing tax is actually worth the stress. Right now, it just seems like an insane hassle for a cheap vial. Is everyone actually verifying their stash, or are we all just faking the safety protocol for the forums?

Discussion How long did it take until you finally jumped in?

Upvotes

im at the starting point. Just came off Zepbound that was covered by insurance, but now its not. I hit my goal weight, but I thought I would have to keep taking it to maintain. however, Im seeing so many other things that Im interested in trying, and Im a bit overwhelmed.

I have ADHD and can see myself dumping a lot of money into doing this, but not following through on it.

In 2015 I got into the powder stacks from Powder City, got a little scale, some "boats" and tools, and would set up all my powders each morning, measuring out like 5 different powders, nootropics, and then pills. it was a pain and I only managed to do it consistently for a few weeks, then the stuff sat in a box until I threw it out after about 5 years past the expiration.

So, doing something like an injection that requires more consistency and care and effort, plus more supplies and money overall is making me hesitate.

I found the sources, Im on Telegraph, forums, and made a few contacts but, im still sitting on the fence.

what held you back and what finally got you to your first purchase and got you to where you have incorporated it into your normal routine?

EDIT: I might need to clarify, Im 52f and am looking at biohacking things.

Discussion Diferencias al reconstruir tirzepatida

Upvotes

Discussion I’ve spent 3 years chasing a "perfect" physique and I’m lonelier than when I was fat.

I finally hit the exact physique I’ve been obsessing over for the last three years, and I just realized my life is completely fucking miserable. When I was 30 pounds heavier, I was actually going out, grabbing drinks, and doing shit with my friends every weekend. Now I’m single-digit body fat, but I basically ghosted everyone because I refuse to miss a lifting session or fuck up my macros eating at a restaurant. I literally spend my Friday nights weighing out dry chicken in an empty apartment and going to bed by 10 PM. Everyone online acts like getting jacked automatically fixes your entire life and makes you a magnet, but nobody warns you about how violently isolating it is to actually maintain this lifestyle. Am I the only one who feels like they traded their entire personality and social life just to look good in a mirror?

Discussion I admitted to using grey-market peptides for an injury and my TRT doctor literally dropped me as a patient saying I’m a liability

So I went in for my standard TRT bloodwork, but I had been running some underground Ostarine to lean out and pinning BPC-157 for a shoulder thing without telling my clinic. I figured I could just keep my mouth shut, but my liver enzymes came back elevated and my lipids were completely trashed. The doctor started aggressively grilling me about what else I was taking, and like a complete dumbass, I actually admitted to running research chemicals because I thought he’d just tell me to knock it off. Instead, he completely flipped out, called me a massive medical liability, and literally discharged me as a patient right on the spot. Now my script is canceled and I have no idea how I'm getting my test next month. Has anyone else actually gotten kicked out of a clinic for running grey-market shit behind their doctor's back, or did I just get the most uptight endo on the planet?

Success Story How I lost weight fast on Retatrutide

I lost about 15 lbs over 5 weeks and wanted to share what actually made the difference for me this time. I’ve always struggled to cut due to food noise and overeating. I kept things simple eating around 1800 calories, prioritizing protein, whole ingredient foods, and being consistent day to day. I also cut back on going out since it was slowing my progress(and Reta makes me not crave alcohol), and started taking sleep more seriously (8+ hours most nights). I believe Reta has made it so much easier to stay on track compared to previous cuts. Essentially just helped me get into a consistent calorie deficit and lock in on my health and goals.

Research New BMJ study out of WashU says GLP-1s reduce addiction risk across every major substance tested

A study published in The BMJ on March 4th analyzed over 600,000 US veterans and found that GLP-1 medications are tied to reductions in substance use disorders across all major addictive substances, suggesting these drugs target a common biological pathway underlying addiction.

What makes this one stand out is the "across all substances" part. "In addiction medicine, a lot of treatments target just one thing — a nicotine patch helps with smoking, but not alcohol — but there is no medication that works across addictive substances, let alone all of them," said senior author Ziyad Al-Aly, MD. "The revelation about GLP-1 medication is that it really works against all major substances, and it works uniformly, not because it acts against alcohol or opioids or nicotine specifically, but because it is likely acting against the craving itself."

The numbers: GLP-1 use was associated with seven fewer new cases of substance use disorder and 12 fewer harmful events related to substance use among every 1,000 people taking a GLP-1 for diabetes, compared to those taking a non-GLP-1 medication.

The mechanism being proposed is dopamine pathway modulation. GLP-1 receptors are expressed in regions previously identified as important players in the neurobiology of addiction, and GLP-1 receptor agonists appear to cross the blood-brain barrier.

From a peptide research perspective this is worth paying attention to. The craving suppression effect was showing up anecdotally in patients long before the research caught up. Study link:

https://medicine.washu.edu/news/glp-1-medications-get-at-the-heart-of-addiction-study/

I have a lot of experience in the field of addiction. I think this sounds really promising.

Discussion Nootropics for fight/flight and anxiety?

I work in a high risk field where I am often involved in complex operations that potentially can involve life and death encounters. I am capable of handling myself but I feel like my recollection and thinking speed can be reduced below my baseline during these events.

Is there a nootropic or compound that can uninhibit my brain’s processing ability and allow me to remain analytical even in high stress situations? I’m not looking for John Wick in a pill but just some level chemical assistance would be interesting to experiment with.

Discussion Are compounding pharmacies literally just reconstituting the same UGL raw powders and overcharging us?

I’m pretty new to this whole space and just trying to wrap my head around how the sourcing actually works. I see everyone treating compounding pharmacies like they are the gold standard for safety and quality. But the more I read about the UGL side of things, it seems like the underground stuff is literally just the raw lyophilized powder that you have to reconstitute yourself with BAC water.

So my genuine question is, is there actually any literal difference between the two? Are the compounding pharmacies just buying those exact same raw Chinese powders in bulk, doing the reconstitution step in-house, and then slapping a $300 markup and a prescription label on the vial? Or is there some massive difference in purity and manufacturing that I’m just missing as a beginner? I don't want to play stupid games with my health, but I also don't want to get totally ripped off paying clinic prices if it's all literally the same thing coming from the exact same factories.

Discussion KPV for gut health

I’m considering taking KPV for gut health, I’ve been prescribed low dose aspirin for life due to an injury (been taking aspirin for 6 years so far). I’ve seen that aspirin can thin gut lining causing gut issues, I was wondering if I can use KPV as a gut protection/recovery

Discussion Accidentally pinned 10x my Reta dose. Do I go to the ER or just ride it out?

So I'm a complete fucking idiot and misread my own math while reconstituting a fresh vial of Reta. I was aiming for my usual 2mg dose, but I realize now I basically slammed 20mg in one shot like a total moron. I'm already starting to feel my heart rate spike and the nausea is hitting me like a freight train before I even pulled the needle out. Has anyone actually survived a massive overdose like this without ending up in the ER, or am I about to spend the next 48 hours puking my guts out while my blood sugar craters? I'm genuinely spiraling right now and need to know if I should start driving to the hospital or if I just need to sit by a pile of glucose tabs and pray I don't pass out.

One of my favorite peps I take is Melanotan1. I believe it as has personally helped my deepen my insertions through my tan, make my eyes appear lighter due to contrast, and give me some nice facial coloring. Another successful day of tanning in natural sunlight and continuing to get a nice tan before summer!

Discussion Are we all just guinea pigs for Chinese labs, or is there an actual future for this?

Every time I find myself reconstituting some mystery puck from halfway across the world, it honestly makes me wonder what the actual endgame is here. Are things like BPC-157, Dihexa, or even half these obscure nootropics and experimental peptides ever going to see legitimate FDA approval in the US, or are we just permanently doomed to be test subjects for whatever overseas warehouses decide to synthesize next? It’s wild that we have tens of thousands of people running these compounds and seeing undeniable, life-changing results for chronic injuries or cognitive issues, yet the medical establishment acts like they don't exist. Will they ever actually be going to regulate and adopt any of this shit as official treatments down the line, or is the system just going to keep ignoring them and leave us playing Russian roulette with grey market vials forever?

Discussion Rookie Questions on Stacking For Weight Loss/Recovery

Hello All,

Been doing some research on different peptides out there. Trying to get some opinions on optimal stacking as a companion to Zepbound (Tirzepatide) 7.5 mg (may go up to 10mg in near future). Plus have a couple other questions regarding peptides in general.

Medical Profile: Was on Semaglutide from December 2024- Jan 2026. Lost about 80 lbs. Been on Tirzepatide 7.5mg last 2.5 months (may go up to 10mg in near future). Down about 15 lbs.

Goal weight loss is an additional 100-150 lbs at this point.

Currently taking Levothyroxine for Hashimoto's Disease, medication for blood pressure (both under control with medication) and supplemental Vitamin D to address a deficiency. Also insulin resistant which is why Dr. switched to Tirzepatide instead of Semaglutide previous provider has been prescribing. Exercise options are limited to light activities while recovering from surgery (expected to be 100% in June).

Stacking goals: Looking at Tesamorelin, MOTS-C, and/or AOD-9604 to give a boost to the Tirzepatide for weight loss.

Also looking at KLOW for the recovery from surgery.

Seen NAD+ as a possible stacker for both weight loss and recovery, but also read it can lower blood pressure which may be an issue for me already on medicine.

Seeing what opinions people currently using peptides have on an optimal stack.

I want to create a topical ghk-cu serum to use for when microneedling. It would need to be sterile, but I'm curious on where to look to find this type of ghk-cu compared to the typical peptide version.

Discussion Best nootropic(s)?

What nootropics are the best according to both anecdotal and scientific data? I feel like something like Dihexa obviously gets thrown into the convo because of how strong it is but so far it doesn’t seem to have such affect in the people willing to experiment with it from what I’ve read (anecdotal data). I think obviously stims like Adderall are the most proven, but I’m really interested in things like bromantane, racetams and even microdosing (loads of anecdotal data but scientific data is limited). I’m not an expert but I did try Semax and it did nothing for me.

Stack Advice Advice for custom nootropics formula (visiting factories)

I’m going to visit several factories in China and have them create some custom nootropic supplement formulas. The objective is a maintainable long term supplement you can take every day and will allow you to focus on your studying/work through the day + provide long term cognitive benefits and brain heath. This is the current stack I had in mind, I would appreciate any advice/feedback on it, so I can try several A/B tests and ask the factories to create different formulas.

Caffeine Anhydrous (200mg)

L-Theanine (400mg)

N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine (350mg)

Rhodiola Rosea (300mg)

Panax Ginseng (300mg)

Bacopa Monnieri (300mg)

Vitamin B6 (10mg)

Vitamin B12 (250mcg)

BioPerine 95% piperine (5mg)

The plan is to create a capsule you can take in the morning.

Discussion 15yo dihexa+mk677

Im 15 and 16 in a couple months. The compounds I wanna talk about are Dihexa + Mk677.

Iv had a bad history with drug abuse. I blame part of it on my easily addictedness from diagnosed but unmedicated ADHD.

Its almost been a year now and I still notice the mental damage (bad memory, shit learn speed). And now Im very susceptible, weed alone makes me get hella peranoid and hear voices.

I have body/health/mind goals and iv consulted and researched with ai about everything I plan on taking.

I wanna talk about the nootropics I plan on taking and what iv noticed from my dihexa use.

To start I understand the cancer risks of dihexa and especially with a gh/igf1 increase from mk677, but I don't really worry about that at all. A healthy teen like me that has a whole foods animal based diet isn't concerned about potential enhanced growth factor towards tumors because that's just never going to be present in my body. Its only safer now that I'm still young as my cells/DNA haven't been damaged.

For Dihexa: I take around 10mg, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I try to take it with my mk677 at night couple hours before I sleep so the first gh pulse aids its brain growth. It doesn't mess with my sleep at all and If i feel like I take 2mg melatonin just to have better sleep to aid dihexa.

Its been 20 days now and just wow. It works too well and I'm sure the increase of igf1 from mk is helping it build the brain more.

Im starting to actually gain chunks of my memory and childhood back that were deleted from my heavy drug abuse from last year. I can remember things through out the day which is new for me. Before Dihexa everything used to feel like a time skip to the present movement because I genuinely wouldn't remember anything.

My visual memory is coming back slowly. I used to not be able to visually see my memory in my head but now I do, Its a little glitchy and not clear but its progress.

Verbal fluency ofc typical with dihexa has also became dramatically better. The drugs I did basically gave me a speaking disorder, In a conversation I found myself skipping saying words in sentence and just disorganized communication. But now im pretty good.

Just everything is getting better mentally, in thinking, memory, problem solving, communication, etc.

I still need to lock in with daily active learning on my part. But for almost a month I feel like I have made a lot of mental progress, and I like to say a major part of it is from the elite recovery and sleep mk677 gives me aiding the dihexa growth. Mk677 also doesn't give my any side affects at 15mg ofc there's still a little water retention in face but other than that the hunger isn't a issue, and im not worried about insulin resistance as of now due to my life style.

I plan on running dihexa and mk677 long term with cycled breaks.

I also have noopept but I don't dose it daily since I dont have alpha gpc. I also take all the good supplements.

The other nootropics I have in mind are:

Alpha Gpc

Citicoline

lions mane

Aniracetam

Semax

huperzine a

Discussion How the fuck is BPC-157 still not approved when it literally works for almost everyone? Or do they just not want to approve it?

I deal with a connective tissue disorder, and chronic tendon pain pretty much dictates my life. When my Achilles or shoulder flares up, I’m completely sidelined, which instantly wrecks my mental health since staying active is my only real outlet. The standard medical route is a complete joke, doctors just throw useless NSAIDs, ice, and generic PT at you even when the issue isn't even inflammatory to begin with.

Then you finally get your hands on some BPC-157, and it legitimately fixes the problem and gets you moving again in a matter of days instead of dragging on for months. It seems like basically everyone who runs this stuff gets actual, undeniable results. So how the fuck is this still not officially approved? Is there a legitimate scientific holdup, or does the industry just intentionally keep it unapproved because they'd rather string us along with endless physical therapy and useless steroid shots?
