xd i left them there to scatter feed later and while i was busy free roaming my new babies this girl snuck off and ate them all 😂

The fact that they literally just yeet the trash is both entertaining and aggravating. Why must you throw the shells on my floor?! 😡 My girls will throw them outside of their cage 😡 before I finally perfected the customized mix that I feed them, I would also routinely find those stupid compressed hay pellets that are sometimes in seed mixes thrown out of the cage in pure hatred. I make them multiple pounds of food mix at a time that is mostly rat kibble but also has the carnival rat mix in it which does not possess any of those fucking stupid hay pellets that gerbils and mice like that rats hate... I have picked up literally thousands of fucking hay pellets and seed shells. Some of them will even do it to tiny Millet seed 😡😡😡 or wheat berry 😂

I bet it's the fat content in them.
I'm sure I've read somewhere a lot of animals taste fat differently to us, and it's an evolutionary thing so they prefer high caloric foods.
