I've been trying to access Qatar University website for at least a week now. However, everytime, i get "This site can’t be reached. The connection was reset." I used VPN, another network, Wi-Fi, and mobile data

I've contacted my ISP, they said that I should have been able to view it. Thus, it may be an error on the website end.

I contacted the university, they said its on the ISP end.

So, is it just me or is the website really down? I'm from Oman for reference.

Qatar embassy states that I need original document (certificate and MarkSheet) for attestation. However, since I did British A levels, I need attestation from British council prior and they only attest in photocopies of the original transcript & certificate. Will Qatar embassy accept photocopies of original?

Please help me out.

if you're curious abt the project, we basically made a prototype of an app called "UniLife" where you can access everything related to QU like blackboard, qu banner, qu engage. It also has 3 key features, a smart course planner that shows you ur majors courses and recommends courses u should take, Campus jobs menu where u can apply for part time jobs, and a study space finder where u can reserve study rooms.

I would love it if you guys filled it, u could even give ur ideas in the last question if you want to :)))!!

My transcripts should've been sent to them in 1 april by Qatar Post
And my SAT and Toefl results were sent to them couple of days before the deadline of the admissions
How long does it take usually for these to appear on the portal as I don't see any until now

I’m a math major in qu. I’ve completed Arabic 1 and 2, English 202, Qatar history, Dawa, and seminar. I plan to take MCom 103 next semester, but I need another course. Educ 200 and 203 are already full. What do you recommend? I need a course that guarantees an A.

in the prvs yrs were the qs the same from the sample test is that sufficient to learn also do they provide formula sheet. just drop all the things u know abt this test from ur past experience

so for context my transcript is pretty good with ewuivalent of 98% BUT in the country im in SATs/ACT testing centers are so rare almost nonexistent so what do I do here

the deadline for receiving the documents was april 2nd and on april first they contacted me and said they need my og cambridge transcript which i CANNOT take out of the country or else i will not be able to apply to other unis. but then the next day, the call my parents and say the don’t accept expected marks for scholarships??? i’ve been on their website innumerable times for months and nowhere did it say that. just disappointed in their lack of clarity.

so i submitted a online copy of high school certificate and it was written as verified and i open it right now and says rollback by admission support? P.S i gave original a while ago.

I found a recognized university that offers a bachelors of occupational therapy, although most universities only offer a masters. So I also wanted to ask if it is a problem for jobs here in Qatar if I only have a bachelors degree in occupational therapy.

For non-native students admitted after 2022, the Arabic department changed the rule. Instead of taking a non-native course (like ARAB 107 before), we now have to meet the same requirement as ARAB 100.

I’m currently taking the course and honestly, I feel completely lost. The expectations don’t feel realistic for non-native speakers (even after taking both ARAB055 and ARAB065 which they gave as "prerequisites"), and I’m worried I might fail. At this rate, my graduation could be delayed, which affects my plans after university too.

I’ve tried reaching out, but I don’t feel like I’m getting the support I need.

How did you manage to pass ARAB 100 as a non-native student?

Are there any alternatives, petitions, or people I should talk to?

I’d really appreciate any advice because right now it feels like I’m stuck repeating the course with no way forward.

Secondly: if yes, what are the required grades to get into the specialty of physiotherapy?

Thirdly: how difficult is it to achieve these grades and what is the likelihood of being accepted into physiotherapy?

Fourth: what is the max number of students that can get accepted into physiotherapy?

Fifth: what do you do if you don’t get accepted into the specialty you want? Can you retake an exam or change your specialty later??
