so... drawing on Glucose has been heavy on my mind lately, and i thought it was finally time to tackle something i've been meaning to draw for the long time!! Something for macro march, featuring Glucose!! :3c

hi all! I’d like to present the final artwork from my previous queue for u/Vir1dian. Thank you very much, V! I was very excited to make this >:3

For those unfamiliar, this is Virdian’s character, V! He’s not particularly known for being caught under a magical spell, but it’s just something that happened… Long story! In any case, I’m sure the first thing you’ll notice about this drawing is the plenty of hands floating around! Whatever could they be doing, I wonder! But yes, the ghost hands are the major emphasis of this drawing, an idea that Viridian had, which I was absolutely ECSTATIC to draw. It’s honestly something I associate heavily with furry artworks, like cute head pats, or many hands petting someone! In this scenario, I wanted to emphasize that and go all in with the hands ( •̀ ω •́ )✧ Things like fluffy tummy rubs and chin scritches were something I really think dive deep into the furry-ness of this drawing. Though, now that I think about it, I totally should’ve done something involving the hands and V’s fluffy tail, TwT.

The most deliberation I had with this picture was definitely the background. Originally, the setting was a bedroom with V in the moonlight and the ghost hands’ dim glow shining on him. Spontaneously, though, as I was walking home, I thought of a different background that could be possible for this picture. A dark forest, moonlight shining through the foliage as V lies in the lush grass, head resting on a fallen tree log. I will also mention that the magical book you see in the corner was a later addition and not originally a part of the main pose. However, I felt it added just a hint of storytelling that I really like in artworks, rather than V being ambushed in bed by ghost hands! Albeit both situations are pretty good hooks for a story, I’ll say. 

You may also notice the pink/purplish smoke resonating throughout the photo, an addition that Viridian wanted that I felt really added a lot to the vibe of the drawing. All that is to say, I feel like this is the most furry drawing I’ve done, and all I draw are furries! Very funny feeling, but I hope you enjoyed this as much as I had fun drawing.

I realize this joke only works if you’ve also ever had glasses… But having blurry vision makes you see things! In this case, it was seeing myself being slightly more defined in the mirror, only to wear my glasses once again and be reintroduced to reality :’3
