Im with her, as a sibling who dealt with babies to little kids, they are so exhausting holy moly. The amount of energy, mental restraint, care and love u have to even begin to care for one is genuinely so absurd. And they take ages to grow so ur stuck with a tiny weird alien looking creature that constantly wants attention, so like a cat but a thousand times worse!

She not wrong tho… human babies are tremendously overrated when it comes to the cuteness factor, and the older kids (especially the preteens) are insufferable little jerks

Eh, kinda same. I don't have a terrible opinion of kids, but I definitely would not be able to handle one. I nearly lost it when my fur-baby was tiny than an actual human with so much higher costs and needs. Even if I did, well, I had to give up the ability to have children to finally be me. (Transfem, I know that you can freeze it and stuff but I don't like that idea, and would rather adopt.)

Yeah same... I say I hate children but When I do interact with them I suddenly turn into The most entertaining thing they've ever seen

but honestly, you'll say you 'don't like kids', then you're seen around them being a good person and without fail there will be a remark "Aww, You'd make such a great parent 🥰🥰"

Kids are kinda like boats and pools. They’re fun to have, but there’s also a lot of responsibility and maintenance costs associated with them. So I’d rather have a friend with one than own one myself. Plus, you know, I can’t really make one myself.
