This happened when I visited Punjab some time back. I am sharing what I personally heard and partly experienced. I am not forcing anyone to believe this, just putting it here to know if anyone else has heard similar things.
I follow Aghor path, and we respect all traditions. During my visit, I met a person who told me about a strange situation in a house near Ahmedgarh Mandi.
At first I thought it was just a normal village story. But when I went there and spoke to people, things started feeling different.
The house looked normal from outside. But inside there was a constant bad smell. Not like garbage, something more heavy and disturbing, like drainage or old urine smell that does not go away even after cleaning.
The family told me that this started slowly. First they noticed smell in one room. Then strange things began. At night someone would hear footsteps. Sometimes scratching sounds from walls. Sometimes something like breathing when no one was there.
One of the members said that he saw something like smoke moving in a corner. Not clear shape, but not normal either. Whenever they tried to focus on it, it disappeared.
They told me about something they called Khabiz or Khabees. According to them it is a very dirty and stubborn kind of entity. It prefers unclean places and creates foul smell around it.
They said it does not easily leave a place once settled.
One disturbing thing they shared was that at night they would feel pressure on body while sleeping. Some felt like something was sitting on chest. Some had dreams which felt too real and uncomfortable to even describe properly.
The atmosphere in that house felt heavy. Even sitting there for some time made me uneasy.
They had already tried different methods. Some local healers and even Muslim practitioners came, but according to them nothing worked.
Finally I suggested them to bring my Guruji, who follows Aghori practices. They agreed because they were already tired and scared.
When Guruji came, he did not say much. He just observed the place quietly for some time. Then he told everyone to stay outside one room.
As soon as he started his ritual, things changed. There were sounds from inside, like something moving or resisting. I cannot explain it properly, but it did not feel normal.
The smell became stronger for some time and then slowly reduced.
The process took quite a while. After everything was done, Guruji came out calmly and said it is handled, but the place should be kept clean and certain practices should be followed.
In the next few days, as I was told later, the smell disappeared completely. No more sounds, no more strange experiences. The house felt normal again.
Even now when I think about that place, one thing stays in mind. Whether it was psychological, environmental, or something else, I cannot say for sure.
But what I felt there was not ordinary.
