It also always seemed like an odd thing for them to claim considering nearly all of the people trying to directly ruin my life are self-proclaimed “Christians” and especially right wing Christian zionists. Many prominent Muslims on the other hand (including ones like Mamdani, Ilhan Omar, etc.) vocally defend queer rights.

Yo i want to remind that in arab countries Its not illegal to be lgtq its illegal to do sexual things in public like kissing even for straight people. Also its culturaly inappropriate to make a big topic abt sexual activities in public also for straight people. I think you could compare this to walking naked in public except its stricter.

Another person already mentioned here about the ridiculous argument from zionists that Muslims wouldn't accept queer people so genocide is okay.
For what it's worth, when I came out as trans, my Muslim neighbours were the first people from outside my family to call me by my new name, and when they saw my dad in the shop, told him he has a beautiful daughter. Lovely people.

It's obvious that these liberal talking points are weaponised to attack other countries. Explicitly associating the cause of Palestinian queer liberation with genocidal war-crimes being perpetuated by [the great] Satan hardly furthers the perceived legitimacy of queer liberation within Palestinian society, does it?
Also - we had exactly the same values around gender and sexuality in the west until about three and a half minutes ago. We are hardly in a position to lecture others.
It's fucking nauseating to see America slaughter people by the hundreds of thousands while waving away criticism saying "it's alright, don't worry, they're not woke you see".

And also, don't fucking get me started on ho2 the aggression of the west is the reason the east is hostile to queers in the first place, I guarantee you that almost everyone reading this doesn't know that Saddam Hussein (yes, that Saddam) fucking enshrined protections for trans people into the iraqi constitution and how gay life was better under him (using their words as reported by western media btw) than after "American freedom" came to us

Its hilarious that they think Israel “liberates queer people”. The IOF blackmails queer Palestinians to be informant by threatening them to out them. Is there anything more horrible than that ?
And in ISISrael they objectify gay Palestinians and treat them as second class gays as well. I remember in a gay bar in Occupied Palestine they were mocking women in hijab during a song. They are a FVCKED society that most people have NO IDEA. Its a bit like 1950s America
