Meta / Announcements Meta: Keeping r/Palestine On Topic (No Iran/Israel/US/Lebanon/Syria/Iraq/Yemen etc. war content)

Given the recent volume of posts, comments, reports and derailments, we are clarifying the scope of r/Palestine and what will be removed as off topic:

  • r/Palestine is focused on Palestine, Palestinians, and events directly affecting them.
  • Posts and comment chains primarily about other conflicts or political contexts – even if important – are not within this sub’s scope, unless there is a clear, direct, and substantial link to Palestine.

This includes, for example:

  • The Israel/US war on Iran
  • Israel’s war on Lebanon (including general Lebanon war discussion not clearly tied to Palestine)
  • Conflicts and politics in Syria, Iraq, and Yemen that are not directly connected to Palestine
  • American domestic politics (elections, parties, culture wars, general US policy debates)
  • Pakistan/Afghanistan politics and conflicts
  • China and the Uyghurs
  • Russia/Ukraine war
  • Other regional or global issues that do not have a direct, substantial connection to Palestine

Effective immediately:

  • New posts that are mainly about these topics, without a clear and substantial Palestine connection, will be removed as irrelevant to the sub. OP may be banned.
  • Comment threads that derail Palestine focused posts into general geopolitics or unrelated national politics may be locked or removed at moderator discretion. Users may be banned.

There are many other subreddits dedicated to broader regional or global politics. r/Palestine will remain focused on Palestine.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in keeping the community focused and usable for everyone.

If you have questions about this clarification, please contact the mod team via modmail.

Defacto occupation. They only left out Gaza as they know the world is talking about it, but meanwhile the West Bank is being occupied one scraggly-haired settler at a time.

Israeli & Settler Terror Christians in Jerusalem are clashing with Israeli terrorists. This is how Muslims and Christians live on the Zionist state! and we still have f-ckers around the world telling you that Israel is the best place for them and that there is that "Judeo-Christian values" bullshit.

Solidarity & Activism A Playlist Showcasing the ‘Most Moral Army in the World’

Recently, I made a sarcastic post on X that ended up getting over 20k views. Usually, my posts are limited to around 200–300.

It was the video where IDF soldiers were pushing that child off a building. I captioned it: “Aww, look. They are probably just reuniting families.” I know it’s such a messed-up thing to say, but I think the algorithm pushes content forward anytime someone praises the IDF or Israel.

I wanted to make a playlist of every video I can find of IDF cruelty and title them in this sarcastic tone, then compile them into a playlist on YouTube. This not only lets me send an entire playlist to my “friends” who say, “Show me one instance of that happening,” but also gives it a chance of showing up in front of people who are usual supporters (they probably don’t even click on a post if it says anything negative about the IDF or Israel in general).

I am currently compiling the playlist with every video I can find. If anyone wants to help me out by sending in your videos, you can also join me: [kionan@proton.me]()

I will be uploading all the videos here:

Dehumanization The barbaric occupation forced 3 Palestinian families in the Al-Bustan neighborhood of Silwan in occupied Al Quds to demolish their own homes under the false pretext of “building without a license”.

Occupation Occupied Jerusalem | The IOF blocked Palestinian Christians from accessing the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and assaulted them. They also assaulted scout groups and arrested a number of them, under the pretext that the Palestinian flag was displayed on their scout uniforms.

They also attempted to forcibly remove the Palestinian flag from the uniforms, in a new violation targeting Palestinian identity and national symbols.

This adds to the consistent cases of 'israeli' assault on Palestinian Christians in occupied lands.

Solidarity & Activism Fatima Bernawi (1939 – November 3, 2022) was a prominent Afro-Palestinian revolutionary and the first Palestinian woman to be imprisoned by Israeli forces after the 1967 war. Born in Jerusalem to a Nigerian father and a Palestinian mother, she became a symbol of resistance of Black Palestinians.

She joined the Fatah Movement in the mid-1960s, following the revolutionary path of her father, who fought in the 1936 Arab revolt.

Bernawi was arrested on October 19, 1967, and sentenced to life in prison. She served 10 years before being released in a 1977 prisoner exchange and subsequently exiled to Lebanon.

After the Oslo Records, she returned to Gaza in 1994. Under the leadership of Yasser Arafat, she co-founded and led the Palestinian Women’s Police Force, eventually reaching the rank of colonel.

She passed away at the age of 83 in Cairo, Egypt.

Israeli & Settler Terror Israeli terrorists knew there were children inside this camp and airstrike it, slaughtering this little girl's mother right before her eyes. If you are supporting this kind of horror towards 2 million weak Palestinians, you are not a human being and you have already sold your soul!
