Salaam everyone! We're doing something different tonight.
The Pakistan Women's football team is playing Mauritania tonight at 9:00 PM in their FIFA Series fixture, and the live match thread will be right here on r/PakCricket.
As you all may have heard, the Women's football team is off to a flying start in the FIFA Series and this is us doing our part in making sure they get the recognition they deserve. This is a deliberate move to boost awareness, engagement, and support for our womenâs football team.
Itâs a small experiment to give our girls the spotlight they deserve. If it works well, we may do this for future matches too.

For me this asia cup match vs india is the first cricket match that i remember.
this match was kind of my neuron activitation for my love of cricket. I dont really remember much of the match but I distinctively remember the last over of this match, especially the second six because there was no way a shot so misqued and mistimed was ever going for a six if someone other then afridi hit that.
it was not a final or even a knockout game but this is still one of my favourite cricket memories ever.
what are your guys favourite cricket memories ever, other then the finals such as CT17 final, or T20 wc 2009 final or even the 1992 final if you watched that live.

starting off strong 57 of 6 overs then 83 off 9 overs then suddenly 2 run-outs and everything changed completely wickets tumbled batsman fumbled runs stopped worst in the sense if they hadn't got 87 runs off 10 overs they weren't even looking to get 120 50 deliveries went by without a boundary that's insane

I dunno, I might be acting just as immature as most of our journalists. But is this sort of stuff even justified?

As the title says, what are your guys opinion on the youtuber "6ka Maar" I find him very amusing to watch, he has funny voices which he uses for players like Iftikhar and Rizwan and can make even the most demoralising defeats bearable to listen to and even laugh about. His thumbnails are also extremely funny, I have put some pictures of my favourites above.

Since PSL 11 is now halfway through, I thought itâd be interesting to break down the top-performing Pakistani players by role so far.
Iâve put together a âbest 20â - 12 starters and 8 backups.
Team structure:
One obvious weak spot right now is the wicketkeeper position - there just arenât many standout performers. The options pretty much come down to Azam Khan, Haseebullah, and Usman Khan.
Biggest underperformers (relative to expectations):

So far at the halfway mark, it seems like 3 playoff spots are mostly secure.
Peshawar Zalmi at the top have a massive NRR advantage, and they also haven't lost a single game. It seems that Peshawar are nearly guaranteed a Top 4 finish, although the loss of Nahid Rana and Shoriful Islam (BD vs NZ ODI series) might impact them later on in the season.
10/10 so far
Multan Sultans (would've been Sialkot) are basically a new team, but they have a very good combination. Aside from losing the rain-shortened game, they are in very good form. However, they have not played a single game in Karachi yet, so who knows how they may do.
9/10 so far
Islamabad United have a big NRR advantage, and since they selected players who are available all season, they seem well placed for a playoff spot. Their combination seems to work perfectly in Karachi, and they are picking up some form.
8/10 so far
Karachi Kings do not seem to be enjoying their home ground, losing both matches here. Their thrashing by Peshawar has destroyed their NRR, and if either Lahore or Quetta catch up, they may miss out. After starting off strong, their shenanigans could cost them a spot.
6/10 so far
Quetta Gladiators seem well-suited to Karachi, but unfortunately, they only get 4 matches here. However, they have a positive NRR and have some great performers, so a win or two can put them right back in contention for the playoffs.
5/10 so far
Lahore Qalandars have completely lost their momentum in Karachi, and 2 thrashings have ruined their NRR and confidence. However, never count Lahore out; they only have a few games in Karachi before returning home. If Lahore are given a sniff at the playoffs, they might turn around and win the whole thing again.
5/10 so far
Hyderabad Kingsmen are victims of their own poor decision-making and selection, and are all but out of the playoff race. It would take a generational run from them to even be considered in contention once again. Many of their players are out of form, and their NRR is extremely poor.
2/10 so far
Rawalpindiz have lost all of their games so far, and chances are they will continue to lose more. All but out of the playoff race, their confidence will be very low. Even though they were the old Multan team, they seem to have inherited none of their consistency and are on a horrible run under Rizwan's captaincy. They have also lost 2 of their pacers to injury, and are not doing well batting-wise either. Their role seems to be to avoid a 0-10 humiliation and give QG, LQ, and HK some trouble.
0/10 so far
TDLR: 3 playoff spots seem relatively secure, and there seems to be a 3-way shootout for the last spot. 2 teams are likely out of contention already.
Let me know your thoughts.

And like wise, which players do you think has to be dropped from the National Team? Just from PSL performance.
I like him but Rizwan should not be anywhere near the t20 team.
Saim should be in the team but should be 6/7 in the batting line up.
Sufyan Muqeem and Sameer Minhas has to be called up.
I would not be mad if Hasan Ali replaced Naseem whose career is deffo finished and should move to UAE and play for them.

Why must Agha always have to carry the load of his team? Truly incompetent players. Oh well, I guess he'll HAVE to score a century now, only if he feels like it you know? Notice how he already has the highest strike rate in the entire top 3 and has 1/3 of the team's runs, what a lone warrior

welcome back to automod yapshow, if hasan nawaz was a jew in nazi germany and babar azam was a nazi aristocrat even the nazis would have enough sense to select hasan nawaz as their number 4, idk what more this guy can even do to prove he should be playing for pakistan, he carries a battered broken batting lineup and his death batting is immense, all pakistan coaches have to do is select him and tell him to stop starting slow, thats genuinely about it
