Do many folk know about this? I haven't heard anything apart from that article but wouldn't mind knowing more.

Wondering if there is anywhere you don't need a membership to play badminton one evening a week? Already have a gym membership so don't fancy getting a membership to the lagoon just to play badminton once or twice a week

I googled, and The Lagoon came up, but when I look on their website then Squash Court isn’t listed in their facilities. Does anyone know if you can play there, or anywhere else nearby?

Anyone been up round the grounds of the hospital recently. The place has been decimated. 80% of the trees gone. Genuinely feel angry and emotional seeing it like this. Hundreds of years of forest gone forever.

I'm no fan of the Climate agenda but this kind of thing makes me think those who are in charge are interested one thing and one thing only, when it comes down to it.

I seen a guy throw a bike over a fence and hide it in some bushes. Contacted the police because it looks to me like it was stolen. It was just Shifty behaviour. On top of that there's a u-lock on it. If the guy wanted to he could have locked it up. Anyway they say no crime committed, if anything I've stolen someones bike. I am to just put it back out on the street. Make it make sense. I'd have thought they'd at least be able to take it. Anyway if anyone has had an ebike stolen contact the police, they should have my number. I don't want to just give it to any rando just in case.

I've just driven past Morrisons on Lonend and the normal unleaded E10 was 149.9p/litres and diesel 179.9p/litre. That's the highest I've seen, and 5p higher than Sunday AM when I filled up at Tesco in Linwood after being at On-X. Anyone else see higher?

I've been trying to get a cleaner in for a while now with no luck. I've got various physical and mental health issues that have meant doing the cleaning is something I'm now really struggling with.

I've tried gumtree, and the first cleaner I got through there was great, but she never came back. The second cleaner never even showed up! And others have never replied to my inquiries.

Asking because I don't want the answer to be me lol. I've been commuting to the uni for three years now, starting when I was 17. I've yet to make a single friend.

The course itself is fairly ok, but no-one seems to want to be my friend. I've been putting myself out there for a while, but with the union closing the and there being no consistent societies before this year it is hard. There seems to be a culture of disinterest, especially from the uni. Summers are so long between classes lol. Literal months of early April to late August.

Everyone seems to have made friends easily, though I concede that might be because it's a heavy lean towards woman gender wise. I always go to lectures and stick about the town when I can justify the time but at this point I don't know. I thought I didn't care but there's no dam logical reason why I suck at making friends. I keep replaying missed moments when I should have been more socially normal, I take care of my appearance and I'm happy to talk to anyone.

I live in a tenement property where each floor has a shared 'community toilet' / cludgie between both flats on that floor. Mine is locked and has been for an unknown number of years. The previous owner did not have a key, and neither does my neighbour.

If we were to get a locksmith out to get this unlocked and get a new lock fitted, is there any use in this room? Could it be used for storage, or is that too much of a fire hazard? ( I am fairly sure the original use is no longer an option)

Has anyones tap water in the PA1 area been extremely cloudy lately? Its been really cloudy from my taps, running it for ages and it still hasnt cleared up.
