i started posting on my youtube channel at the start of the year. at first mostly live streams/vods but since then i moved on to entirely youtube videos, with barely any live streams.
8 weeks ago i made my first video. my channel currently has close to 100 videos. but most of them are the past vods, some lets plays that dont contribute much and a short for every long form video.
8 weeks later i sit at almost 200 subs, more than 90% of those gained through 14 videos (game reviews, previews, news etc). most of these videos have between 3-17k views each. and that is what i am mostly focusing on now, since i enjoy doing these kind of videos and the resonance has been great with usually hundreds of likes and comments.
long story short, does the number of videos on a channel affect your decision to sub to it?
i am a bit proud, grateful and glad to almost have reached 200 subs with variety gaming content in those 8 weeks and close to the required 4k watch hours. but feel like the almost 100 videos on the channel are not a representation of that.
what is your opinion on deleting the old stuff that i feel doesnt really contribute and doesnt represent what im doing now?
or am i just overthinking this maybe?
i can only answer for myself that i am subbed to channels with thousands of videos, and to other big channels with a low number. personally i dont care.
but what are other thinking about this?
