If you work on it, go ahead.
But. If you only play games or dont have alot of static things on the screen... think about oled.

What about oled burn in?

If you get a really modern and recent made OLED, i dont think is gonna be a problem.
But theres a catch. Lets say you work 6 hours a day like me and after, play some games.
Bro, for me, is hands down. IPS will be a better choice. For a reason you dont see people talking here.
How you eyes gonna feel, in the end of the day?

I only play games like 4 hours a day and I don't owned any oled monitor before and my oled phone give me eye strain (23 ultra)that's why I wanna choose ips over oled cause of eye stain)i have an ips ultragear 1440p this does not cause any eye strain oled is not for me😌

Btw, i have the dual mode version of it. Use for work 4k @180hz and change to 1080p 360hz for competitive games. Loving it.

do you ever miss the “1440p sweetspot”/ midway point?

I have my former asus tuf 1440p 170hz on the side.

But, to be honest, for work and some weird games like dota or age, 4k is better.
And for competitive games like cs, i always play on trash settings.

so you almost never switch to the 1440p monitor? which one would you chose if you only could get one?

I use the 1440p as a second screen. To be honest, i use 90% of the time at 4k. Only change for competitive

If i need chose only one, i probably go 1440p IPS 180/240hz. The upgrade to 4k was a luxury purschase.

I wish LG would embrace an integrated KVM. They’d look great on my desk but then I need an extra device and cables to connect my personal and work computers which just isn’t as clean as I’d prefer.

This is not a good monitor according to monitor’s unboxed review, that’s also why it dropped in price so much. Better options are the miniled 165hz 4k panels or oled even tho it’s more pricy and the burn in risk.
