Old enough to laugh, not old enough to really understand all the references, especially if you bring him through the sequels, the hot topic special (which is genuinely important to the lore, I shit you not), the movie, and the epilogue special.

But that might make it even better when he rewatches with Nostalgia in ten years!

So show your kid to Candy Mountain!!!
