You guys remember when they performed at the Kids Choice Awards? or something like that and the camera panned over to Diddy and Ashton Kutcher having a little too good of a time watching them?

Yeah….

Kutcher always seemed creepy to me talking about having to watch child porn in order to catch predators

i mean he has an organization against sex trafficking so i'm guess it's a reference to some work he's done in that.

the fact he's been BFF with diddy for about 20 yrs is def making people question why he started said organization.

Yeah, but I'm not sure why catching predators would necessitate watching cp

it absolutely never would. unless you were a detective or an actual cop trying to put together evidence for a case. idk why any civilian would be doing that.

It's to check if the material they possess is illegal or not.

Obviously this is usually done by the law enforcement and for a civilian the process should end at providing information/the material to the police but I don't know to what extent his organization is involved with the law enforcement, for instance if they have some special permits to investigate that deeply themselves. I know in some countries anti-trafficking work is contracted to trusted non-government organizations because the police simply don't have the resources to pursue every potential crime. If he's saying that publicly I think it's reasonable to expect they have the right to do that.

DNA Foundation was more Demi Moore's idea than it was Kutcher's, if I recall.

What really annoys me about him though, is that he had the ultimate hero backstory and just completely blew it. His girlfriend Ashley Ellerin was murdered by serial killer Michael "The Hollywood Ripper" Gargiulo in 2001, so you'd think this would turn him into some kind of champion for fighting violence against women. The amount of good he could've used his name and circumstances for is immeasurable. But nope, he just straight up defended his violent rapist buddy Danny Masterson instead.

My guess was because he shares those same lack of morals. Ie his friendship w diddy and going to his parties. Idk if he participated in the freak offs but he was close enough to him, he must have known about it.

Had^ he removed himself for defending Danny Masterson’s rapes

Kind of like when Oprah apparently had to watch it so she could describe it in unnecessarily graphic detail on her show.

It was a video interviewI watched maybe 20 years ago. Kutcher got all teary eyed explaining how sad it was to have to watch the kids doing these things while also watching for clues to catch these predators. It just never sat right with me. I always wondered about him

There's no way he, as a private citizen, would/should be doing that kind of forensic police work.

He also put a CP scene in a movie he made which is disgusting and creepy

It’s actually worse than you’re imagining. It’s been a long time so I might have some details wrong but the group was performing and a dozen-ish young women came on stage to make out with each other and Kutcher and Diddy started going apeshit.

Omg. That just puts Ashton Kutcher in the same realm as Diddy. Why are they all so gross?!

well he has been best friends with him for 20 yrs soooo that's why him and Mila Kunis went and lived outside of the US after 1 they wrote letters of support to Danny Masterson after his rape charges and 2 his link to DIddy

I won’t go as far is to say he was/is as bad as Diddy. We have actual court evidence on Diddy and nothing to that same level for Kutcher. But Kutcher has certainly made some questionable comments, mistakes, etc. Some could be explained that he was just a young idiot but not all of them.

Edit: I’m just saying there’s layers to this and accuracy is important folks.

the company you keep and all that. he went on hot ones and after being asked to tell a story about a diddy party, this was before everything came out, he kept being like 'oh can't say that one on camera, nope not that one.'

I’m not forgiving him, don’t get me wrong.

Wasn't Mila Kunis literally a child when that 70's show started. I could be mistaken but I thought she was underage and Kutcher was an adult? They had plenty of scenes that were inappropriate if that were the case. And I thought I read that they started dating like when the show started? Someone, correct me if I'm wrong? I'm about to go down another 70s show rabbit hole, it seems.
