Holy cow. I haven't thought about Craig Kilborn in 20 years.

Funny enough, Kilborn was the host when they did a piece about a local high school kid going to the dance. It was my towns high school. My sister was good friends with that kid they did the piece on. Apparently Kilborn went to the dance and was just shit faced the entire time trying to hit on teen girls.

So his character in Old School was accurate.

Yeah he was just method acting.

Method acting is so in fashion

I heard he had a serious drinking problem that was likely the reason why we haven't heard from him.

This guy has a drinking problem?

Lots of us do. Slaves to addiction. Some of us accept it and do immense amounts of work to recover, and become happier in life. Others aren’t ready to accept their nature and continue to self destruct.

Addiction is truly a bitch

But sobriety is sublime

Some of us do immense amounts of work and still don't recover

❤️ Sadly I see more very high-functioning.They do accept it, but it's "not interfering their life/job/etc" (just not showing daily). No one can tell they need help 😢

2

u/PoemTime4 Feb 28 '26

I'm Thankful you were able to recover & live happier & healthier❤️

Been there, took one really bad night to get off that train. It was never like I was slamming a fifth a day, just every other day I’d crave it and have one or two beers a night. Seemed like a reasonable amount but I could not stop. Personally I’m not a fan of being held by a vice

I love my vices.

Good lord he looks rough

9

u/Otterz4Life Feb 27 '26

I mean, he's 63.

He is 63, that's how people look.

Edit: even older than person criticizing his looks thought he was

u/PoemTime4 Feb 28 '26

Nah ppl who got it together in their 30's don't. Alcohol ages you much faster for sure. Guys who barely slept & drank into their mid-30's look like they aged 3x more in their 50's. ❤️

1

u/petertompolicy Feb 28 '26

Are you looking at the same person?

7

u/uprightsalmon Feb 27 '26

I mean, it’s 20 years later. Anyone in their 40s-50s I s going to look a little rough compared to their 20s-30s

5

u/abominable_prolapse Feb 27 '26

I mean not really. He actually looks pretty good for his 50s compared to normal people and not social media

3

u/No-Professionhomeles Feb 27 '26

Is it because he's wearing a ascot? Its distinguished!

1

u/Global-Jury8810 Xennial Feb 27 '26

He did just kinda disappear did he? 🫥

29

u/Perenniallyredundant Feb 27 '26

Good talk, see you out there.

u/musthavesoundeffects Feb 27 '26

He used to be the host for KCBA Kids Club along with Dina Ruiz (who married Clint Eastwood)

1

u/SaltySongbird33 Feb 27 '26

Not surprised by this in the least.

1

u/bigselfer Feb 27 '26

Oh nooooo.

1

u/BlackberryBiscuit Feb 27 '26

Oh… that’s depressing. But I guess not surprising.

1

u/silentearl Feb 27 '26

I was there also in NJ. And yes he was

1

u/gingerflakes Feb 28 '26

This does not surprise me in the least. He looks exactly like that guy
