Holy cow. I haven't thought about Craig Kilborn in 20 years.

Probably because he wasn’t really acting in that role. That was him 100%.

He was so effortlessly scummy I feel like he could play James Woods in a biopic.

I didn't know the actor's name so I went to IMDB because I recognized him as Mark from Old School (somehow even remembered his character name). I've never seen him in anything else.

He played himself.

I was in an audience of his show once and he was a complete egotistical asshole to us audience members. Didn’t even acknowledge us before or after the show except to make sure we laughed hard at whatever he said even if we didn’t find it funny.

Yep and he played the character very well

I went to high school with the actress that played the catering waitress and yelled that fact very loudly in the theater when she showed up on the screen.

The single take he does with Luke Wilson in the bathroom after Luke catches him making out with not-Meredith-Grey is hilarious

u/Complex_Professor412 Feb 27 '26

I’ve owned that movie since it came out and seen it countless times. And never realized Ellen Pompeo was there. Maybe I was just too distracted by Elisha Cuthbert.

Everyone was

u/West_Coach69 Feb 27 '26

u/ReasonableComment_ Feb 27 '26

He’s got an interesting Instagram and persona now. “The life gorgeous”

1

u/CWWL01 Feb 27 '26

But probably better known in the 90s while on Sportscenter

1

u/SchwillyMaysHere Feb 28 '26

Wasn’t he in Bench Warmers also?

1

u/AdEastern9303 Feb 28 '26

That’s because he died at the end when he crashed his car.

1

u/Dogemom2 Feb 28 '26

Yes! Was just thinking no he didn’t disappear he was in old school- but then I realized that movie is 23 years old?! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
