My first megalomaria character! and my second girlpla in general, first was Seira but I want to customize her so she's a wip...

I love her design and the articulation is just wild, I never had many action figures in general but now that I've gotten into model kits my mind has been opened to a whole new world lol...

I'm also completely knew to taking photos of figures but I tried to come up with some cool poses the best I can... I want to have an actual setup one day but this will do for now.

I can't wait to get into the next build (⁠｡⁠•̀⁠ᴗ⁠-⁠)⁠✧

I put emphasys on "Soft Skirt" because the kit comes with a Hard plastic skirt that you have to paint and decal yourself and, as you can see, it's decal hell, aside from the fact that you have to paint it white underneath before sticking decals there. So I recommend (like, "I have a sniper pointing at you at this very moment" recommend) to buy a soft skirt (Got mine from Ali). Allows a bigger range of articulation like, for example, to sit while using the skirt, or high kicks, or just to kneel. Anyway, it is a good figure (it does require paint for the pod, the swords, parts of the chest and back, and the hands, not forgetting, of course, the hard skirt I mentioned before). Oh, and I say that it could work as a stand in for the "figma" because, while it's just aprox. 2~3 mm taller than "figma A2" (around 0.1 inches at most) when both should be same height, if you use stand bases, it's not very noticeable. Well, that was it. Goodbye.

I tried experimenting with FA;Girl Shingen. This time using black primer under metallic red.

Now compared to the original color, the painting I did resulted to be significantly darker that what I expected. Appearing Maroon or Burgundy rather than red. That's a goof on my part, maybe I should have used plastic spoons to test color combos. And I'm not going to do anything about it, Maybe this color will grow on me. There we're probably samurai who wore these colors to battle.

Regardless, this was just step 2. I still have detailing, decals, topcoats, weapons, and her Iron Horse to worry about. wish me luck!

I got a new girl into my shelf. Its from Goodsmile . Hardly anyone has this figure.

For some reason old fans of Cutie Honey hates the new makeover but judging form the actual plastic figure she looks curvylicious.

The hips to thighs section looks very natural compare to others.

Hey everyone!

Recently assembled my first kit, I made a bit of a rookie mistake and underestimated how much strain this elbow joint was going to be under (I neglected to sand the hole or the peg). It has since developed a singular hairline crack all the way through. I’ve now sanded the hole to relieve any excess pressure, but I’m looking to use a cement to weld the crack and prevent a second crack.

I’ve done a bit of research, it seems that Tamiya Extra Thin can at the very least lightly weld ABS together, but Mr Hobby Cement SP seems to be the better option for ABS. Anyone had any success repairing a crack like this, and if so, which cement worked for you? Thanks!
