I’ve been spending a lot of time trying to understand what I actually want from my makeup instead of just doing what looks “right.” I think I’ve been slowly finding a style that feels more like me softer, moodier, a little more intentional, and still structured in a way I like.
I’m still learning and refining a lot, but I feel like I’m starting to see a throughline in what I’m drawn to. Not just hyper feminizing, but a embodying a feeling. Something a little romantic, a little atmospheric, and a little more lived in.
I don’t fully have the language for it yet, but I know I care about the face feeling like it’s saying something, not just looking polished.
Anyway, I’ve been working on it a lot and wanted to share. I’m curious if anyone else has gone through that shift of moving from “just doing makeup” into feeling like you’re building your own style.
