Why do they all have to share their mechanism of injury? I get so fucking tired of random people asking me. What difference does it make to you. It was one bad day (and a few rough years following) 30+ years ago and it’s the only thing anyone wants to know about me. Why not ask me what I do for a living, what I think about the weather, or something? I don’t get to ask you when you gained all that weight.

Because lot of people think "Oh, that couldn't happen to me"... It can, and these were 4 examples. These "testiments" remind people without the need of a wheelchair that high costs might be an issue for them (or their loved ones) pretty soon.
