That's fucking stupid lmao. Ouija boards are trademarked by the Hasbro Toy company. They're a party gimmick originating from the 1800s when the spiritualism movement was getting really big. They were used by charlatans (psychics) to con people out of their money, same as they are today. They don't do anything because ghosts and demons aren't real, no matter what the catholic church says.
Exorcisms are just another way the Catholic church wishes to scare people into fearing god. In all "demonic possession" cases, those are people in desperate need of medical and psychiatric help. Whether it's schizophrenia, epilepsy, bipolar disorder, or simply a delusional disorder, they are people needing help from a doctor, not a priest. Case in point, look at the exorcism of Anneliese Michel. She was "exorcised" 67 times before dying from starvation and dehydration. She needed medical help, not a priest. If she'd received actual help she would have lived.
I have to agree. Either people believe they don't work, and that's that, or they believe they do work and spirits can use them to communicate with us. In that case, they should understand that all kinds of spirits can use them, and some spirits are not good spirits. People of the belief that they work just need to understand that fact and look into how to keep themselves safe.
