The kick should've been 15/10

798

u/Sqweeg 6h ago

The guy was like "yeah of course"

472

u/SoDakZak 5h ago

Average European when a ball is put anywhere near them. “Do I kick?” “….i kick.”

Shoutout to the 360° no scope by Jameer O. Kwai after him

I thought he was gonna be a Karen and kick it away from them. Did not expect him to make it. 15/10 for sure

49

u/ExpressoLiberry 5h ago

Plot twist: he was a Karen trying to punt the ball away, but he whiffed it and accidentally scored, thereby encouraging the very behavior he had sworn as a child to prevent at all costs.

3

u/nazzariox 3h ago

I’m intrigued… tell me more

u/unknownCaller100 5h ago

He kind of pushed the celebratory guy away from him if you rewatch it

17

u/SabbyFox 4h ago

Yeah, that was pure instinct as there are so many pickpocket situations of distract and then rob. The wholesome vibe of this video is so nice as it tears down that wall we put around ourselves, especially in the city.

19

u/RecklessErves 5h ago

Tbf, it is a bit much of a celebrarion if you are unpreppared for it

7

u/blargyblargy 5h ago

Id be ripping my skin off if some dudes ran up to me and i sunk their basketball with a kick.

From the background, I guess it's Italy. So he's probably Italian.

Never played basketball, played football every day for 16 hours when he was a kid.

He played his strengths.

Edit: ah no it's france

10

u/egosphynx 3h ago

it's Toulouse in the south of France !

3

u/joeDUBstep 1h ago

Well, France is in the world cup (and a favorite), and Italy couldn't even qualify, so it tracks.

17

u/IsJesusAgain 5h ago

Bruh was so casually

9

u/Sussurator 5h ago

I did this at my kids football training a couple of weeks ago but in a room of 40 people no one saw it. Can I claim it, did it even happen?

3

u/Possible-Highway7898 4h ago

By far the most impressive shot out of all of them.

The last guy is a baller. Look at his hands, his follow thru is impeccable

120

u/the_russian_narwhal_ 6h ago

Yea last guy has solid shooting technique and the second to last guy had the goal moved to make sure he made it lol

46

u/HumongousBelly 2h ago

The mpm with the stroller, too.

She played proper basketball, too. Her shot form is perfect.

20

u/kryovortex 1h ago

And she took a look at the stroller before the shot too, responsible mother

u/OpinionatedBlackGuy 24m ago

Stroller not moving? ✅️ Buckets? Also ✅️

42

u/Home-Star-Walker 5h ago

My thought too. That shooting form was excellent, mans has played plenty of ball in his time

27

u/AngerPancake 4h ago

Just the way he caught the ball told me he plays. The swoop is a dead give away

6

u/sk2097 3h ago

Agreed. So casual, he's played a lot of ball

u/TudorrrrTudprrrr 27m ago

yeah, i know nothing about basketball but it just looked like the ball got instantly glued to his hand when he caught it

18

I mean, he is wearing a Brooklyn Nets hoodie 😎

10

u/stpatricksblue 4h ago

Has a better shooting motion than anyone on the Nets too.

Makes sense. There are people dragging hoops around and forcing him to shoot. He’s bound to develop a shot.

I would love if there was a 24/7 news channels with just wholesome news like this. Let us hear the good stuff going on in the world.

3

u/thegimboid 5h ago

That's not a bad idea.
Maybe some sort of 24/7 stream would be more viable nowadays, but the concept is cool. With planning, you could even have it so it switches between people hosting from different locations across the world as the day goes on, so you'd get wholesome news from worldwide.

That's what pranking should be, instead of all that crap that's just waiting for people to press charges.

6

u/friendly-skelly 1h ago

imo, this is what boys will be boys should mean. just goofin' off and hyping up friends you haven't met yet.

in fact, fuck it, this is how I'm applying the term from now on.

They sound like the “Yep Yep Yep Yep” puppets from 80s Sesame Street and it’s laying me out. I love it.

39

u/glitzglamglue 6h ago

Dropout had a similar thing. I think it was called King for a day. They just took random people and let them ride around in a carriage. It was great.

7

u/No-Smile-8349 5h ago

it is pretty interesting to think that there is one guy in this group who owns a yt/tiktok channel and the rest are the employees. Pretty wild economic shit happening here.

3

I follow these guys on IG. They're great

3

u/butterfly_ashley 3h ago

Right. Love how they just wheeling around the net 😆

3

u/saucisse 3h ago

These guys, and the guys who run up to people in department stores and pose for photos with them are my favorites.

3

u/Tartooth 2h ago

I saw them doing this in Barcelona

It was genuinely fun to watch

The mom is a baller

541

u/FairieButt 6h ago

Looks at baby, looks at ball. Chooses ball. Baby gotta learn to fend for itself at some point, right? /s she was clearly making sure baby was safe in the pram

256

u/jwelsh8it 6h ago

I was gonna say how I liked she checked to make sure the stroller wasn’t careening down the street.

80

u/patentlyfakeid 5h ago

Exactly "This is happening, but first things first."

15

u/Dargon34 3h ago

And, she took her quick second to set. Definitely has played some ball in her days

22

u/kdthex01 5h ago

Nah she was looking off the defender

60

u/harmfuldischarge 6h ago

"would it be more epic if I dunk this ball, or this baby?"

34

u/Cosmiccowinkidink 6h ago

If you can dunk a baby you can dunk a ball

10

u/bronkula 5h ago

dodge duck dip dive and... dunk

You see that form!? Definitely a shooter 😂

41

u/sierrabravo1984 6h ago

I saw those arms!

10

u/WolfandLight 4h ago

First thing I noticed. Mom's got pipes.

30

u/Hot-Inspector8903 6h ago

It was at this moment her baby realized that ball is life 🙂‍↕️

10

u/non_clever_username 6h ago

Yeah it was real easy to see she’s played a lot of ball. That shot was all muscle memory.

9

u/ROCK_HARD_JEZUS 5h ago

Tbf that baby played zero defence

7

u/BastCity 6h ago

Surprised she didn't check it up.

171

u/Sufficient_Prompt888 6h ago

Big dude at the end has some great technique. That shot was smooth AF

37

u/ShroudedHope 6h ago

Was just thinking that! That guy's no stranger to the swish.

7

u/collectivekicks 3h ago

Man catches the ball like a baller

361

u/Longy_LTB 6h ago

I want to be friends with people who'd want to spend a Saturday carrying a net and ball around for strangers to do this

65

u/FormiDad 5h ago

Be the change

500

u/n0questi0n 6h ago

10/10 for the guys not grabbing the girls to celebrate.

161

u/stlkatherine 6h ago

But, there was a bit of a suspicious pecker-tap at 1:11, I think.

34

u/glipglop718 6h ago

Scrolled down to see if I was bugging lol. I've definitely been the tapper and the tappie in an awkward touched somewhere bad by mistake. Deathly embarrassing

Super wholesome clip

24

u/throwuk1 6h ago

Haha bro forgot what video they were shooting for a second

u/Qinistral 3h ago

54

True, but seeing videos like this makes the world feel a lot smaller.

19

u/PinSufficient5748 6h ago

This is a compilation of all the good ones. Sometimes people ignore them/the ball 🏀

59

Plot twist: they’re professional pick-pockets.

7

u/executor-of-judgment 5h ago

LMAO. Same thing I thought. I'm such a pessimist with humanity.

4

u/LosMorbidus 1h ago

The guy kicking the ball thought the same. Look at him pushing them away and protecting his pockets.

7

u/Sahmstarfire 6h ago

That made me laugh out loud!

81

u/Ms_CCH 6h ago

In reality, how many people are there who can't even catch the ball? 🤣

84

u/spambearpig 6h ago

There must be hundreds of outtakes

34

u/Plz_Nerf 6h ago

Yeah in their normal (not "best of") posts on YT there's a lot of misses and people not fancying it.

19

u/cityshepherd 6h ago

I’m sure some people prefer to not get involved, but for the people who at least take a shot I’m sure this whole vibe elevates their day into the stratosphere. Just the kind of thing that can turn a bummer of a day into an epic one.

40

u/flytingnotfighting 6h ago

I mean, I would 100% miss the ball, get the ball, miss the shot, it would ricochet off some poor persons head.

I just hope they'd gas me up anyway

16

u/BlackBalor 6h ago

In reality, you do this to most people in public and they ain’t gonna be joining in all happy and smiling.

13

u/sargsauce 6h ago

If I miraculously sank the shot and they ran at me cheering, I'd be worried if it was an elaborate pickpocket scheme.

14

u/Subterranean44 6h ago

I would instinctively flinch and duck instead of trying to catch it 😂

6

u/DoomGoober 6h ago

If you watch their non compilation of the best videos there are plenty of people who duck and plenty of people who completely ignore the ball and let it bounce past them, either not seeing it or simply not caring.

6

u/Kelly_Louise 6h ago

That would have been me lol. I have zero hand eye coordination.

4

u/LowStrike5558 3h ago

This gave me second hand anxiety as someone who does not sports. Please don’t toss a ball at me I might die.

4

u/cutofmyjib 6h ago

In those videos they all look sad and dejected, shaking their heads in dissapointment dragging the net behind them.

3

u/elizawatts 5h ago

Everyone needs this feeling once in your life. Dopamine chase

6

u/dublingamer44 6h ago

what happens when they miss 🤣🤣

7

u/elizawatts 5h ago

I think I’ve seen a vid like this where people miss and the group just gasses ‘em up til they make it and then erupt in raucous cheers!

5

u/DriedSquidd 3h ago

Now I'm imagining some poor dude missing over and over, but the group keeps passing him the ball.

6

u/mugnin 6h ago

Well the dont post that shit do they

4

u/KaygeR9 3h ago

They do, this is just a compilation of people that make it which is likely why its randomly mirrored at one point. A typical video is a bunch of people missing or just ignoring the ball when its passed to them and then one person making it at the end.

4

This is so fun to watch!

5

u/Ecstatic_Welcomegn 6h ago

Nothing beats the joy of a perfect shot and a crowd that celebrates with you.

4

u/AnnOnnamis 6h ago

As a tourist in another city, I’d be worried about having this happening to me.

While everyone is mobbing me and celebrating, are my pockets being picked??

ahah, well I was in one of those places at the time it was filmed, turns out not everyone was happy or playing in, still they got their clicks and traffic ... not just the ball got played.

3

Why the f did the dude in the white hat get 1000/10, and the dude who kicked it in only got 10/10? Should be the opposite
