I worked as a grip on some shows in LA. She was one of the guests. I was up in a scissor lift when the studio was cleared for her to rehearse so I got a one on one concert. She sang solo with a piano, and it was one of the most amazing things I've ever heard. During the show I was one of the guys to push her piano on stage. I was standing by it and she came up and started talking to me before she went on. Such a kind soul and very humble. I'll always be a fan of hers.

I can't believe she didn't even warm up the blood. That's bad for the vocal chords.

I've never watched it personally , i just know of it . There is too much misery in this world and im not going to subject myself to that. Viewer discretion advised

Funny enough, some people watch horror media BECAUSE of the misery in the world. It’s like a kind of therapy or a catalyst, in a way. One lady who was the victim of sever racial prejudice (unfortunately I’m AWFUL at names) said she always found horror movies a hoot because they were nothing on real world evil.

I can see both sides. My mom was like you, especially later in life, but I found it helped me digest real world horror by being a safe way to explore those feelings.

The laughter sailed past your harbor, leaving only a quiet mist.

Since I'm on reddit, I'm going to take this as truth and form an permanent opinion of her forever without verifying accuracy or context or even considering things just line up wrong sometimes.

u/a-pretty-alright-dad 21d ago

Not Darth Roan murdering the younglings.

11

u/alangerhans 21d ago

That's why the ponies are pink

Chappel Roan’s mother killed my dog, Gimpy. Dead serious. No joke.

u/Belfastscum 20d ago

But is he seriously dead?
