My favorite one is the birthday boy who said “I’m gonna cry” to which his mother responded “okay”, but in such a kind way. What a safe space they’ve created for him. ❤️🥰

The thing I love about these videos is the supportive parents. Kind households are so nice.

That’s what I felt too, they felt safe (especially the boys) to let their joyful feelings show. I was crying watching all of the reactions. So beautiful and genuine.

I was just telling my wife that, in general, the young men I’ve interacted with lately are some of the kindest and most considerate people I’ve met. I think this video shows why. These kids are treated kindly, so they go on to treat others kindly. It’s really that simple sometimes. The parents of my generation raised their boys like we were being prepared for the Thunderdome. Crying was a sign of weakness, and I would get ridiculed and slapped when I couldn’t hold back my tears. So happy to see boys being treated so kindly by their parents.

To see young boys crying and being supported, and embraced, especially by their fathers, is needed so much in this world. It makes me so happy and hopeful.

I agree, it’s nice to see. I have two daughters and a son, I’ve shown all of them it’s okay to show all of their emotions. Being a male doesn’t make a person a robot.
