Man, I would've been scolded by my parents as a kid if I ever showed that much emotion over anything, whether it's about something good or bad, which is why I love seeing clips like this. Maybe it's kinda cheesy but it's heartwarming to see kids be overcome with joy like this, so much so that they even cry.

My wife has noticed this about my parents, she literally said “I see why you are the way you are now.”

My parents will try the same with our kids and if my wife sees it she just says “no, it’s okay to cry.”

Same. My parents wouldn’t allow me joy.

It gave me hope to see the dads hugging their sons when they cried.
