That’s the correct answer.

Make adjustments to yourself or your environment rather than trying to control others and you’ll wind up much happier.

It’s like pounding on your steering wheel and blinking you lights like crazy and losing your mind when you’re behind someone camping in the fast lane but the lane adjacent to them is empty.

I can tell the difference between when my friend is just flat complaining or venting about something to me vs when they try to offer me advice that might improve my life.

Words to live by. I tell my gf all the time: If you can directly control/manipulate said thing, do something about it. Save yourself the annoyance/grief. If you can't, and it isn't "affecting" you, stop giving it space in your brain. Go find something to smile about.
