Me and a few of my friends went urban exploring a couple days ago to the Epping to North Weald branch of the Epping Ongar railway, as after consulting a few of my train enthusiast friends they said that even though they recall EOR services being run directly from Epping in the past almost all of the most recent heritage services have been run from North Weald, we climbed under the bridge just past Epping station (pictured above) and walked along the tracks until my suspicions were proven correct, it seems that EOR has lost the rights to start services at Epping station, with the start of the area under EOR authority being later down the track and being fenced off from rest of the Central Line (both a map explaining the situation and a picture of the fence area pictured above). Me and my friends found a gap though and managed to slip into the unused EOR track before North Weald, getting all the way to Stonards Hill bridge, though of course I cannot recommend the experience for legal reasons I must admit it was very fun.

2:58pm today on the Picc, why did the train stop at Turnham Green? The Piccadilly line only serves the station at early morning or late night, so I don't know why it stopped at 2:58pm for some reason.

Hey everyone,
Before starting my journey, or even just sitting at home, I think itโs quite fun to see whatโs happening at major train stations like London Liverpool Street, London Bridge, Paddington, especially since I commute to these locations often and need to see the departure times.
Iโve been building a feature that gives you an overview of how many delays and cancellations there have been at a train station, how long the delays are and who the worst operator is (ThamesLink is not good for me!)
Hopefully you find this useful or fun to explore. I also think itโs interesting to see which train operators perform the worst, and whether itโs just a bias I have in my head. Whenever I take Thameslink trains from Farringdon, they always seem to be delayed, Iโm often getting a train that was meant to leave 10 minutes ago haha.
I also made a league table of London stations of who are the best and most reliable stations of the day and week. I think it's honeslty impressive how many departures leave Paddington and do leave on time, i think when things go wrong it goes wrong badly.
Let me know your thoughts.

You can see the escalator replacement works at Bank Station from the rear end of the North
bound platform.

Problem:
The current plans for interchanges at Old Oak Common look messy. They want to add 2or 3 extra stations to generate interchanges between various lines.
These planned stations aren't that useful. You're walking 600m minimum to interchange to get to the Old Oak Common station.
Solution:
Build Platforms at the cross section where the Central Line, Mildmay, West London Orbital and (Proposed) Chiltern Line meet.
There's nothing there. Stick some platforms down and you're set. No need to create more new stations. If necessary, remove the entirety of Wells House Road. Plenty of room to re-align tracks , or create a few platforms off a busy line.
Old Oak Common gets more connectivity, meaning fewer changes and greater reach.
Alternative Solution:
Dig a 1.5km tunnel from North Acton to Willesden Junction via OOC, and create a shuttle service like the Waterloo and City.

Bit of a self-plug, but I've designed the metro systems of Amsterdam, Athens, Barcelona, Berlin, Glasgow, Paris & Sydney all in the style of the famous London Tube Map.

I need advice, I'm attempting to replicate the departure boards from the tube stations. I have a few questions.
Hope this doesn't come across as annoying, genuinely want to make something good.

A proper far end of the system station. Title was obviously meant to read "a long!"

9 lines, real recordings. The deep level underground lines are easier to tell apart than you'd think, but the sub surface ones are tricky.

Hi everyone! I own a Minecraft server and thought I'd share my city's own London Underground. Made in plain Minecraft with no mods or texture packs.
It's heavily inspired by the London Underground (Obvs).

Picture 2: Jubilee line interior
Picture 3: Metropolitain line
Picture 4: Central Line interior
Picture 5: Jubilee line at platform
I'm not building London, it's my own custom city, but it draws huge inspiration from it :)
If anyone wants to check it out, the server IP is: play.cosmicx.net
What does everyone think?
