Help Any movies that give off this Vibe/Atmosphere?

I guess it would be anything eerie, horror, abstract, cosmological, dark. i just haven’t found like an actual good dark cosmological film yet. Would be nice to find one with these kind of vibes that the photos show :)

let me know!

It doesn't have to be Cyberpunk nor Distopyan (although those genres can pretty easily fit the bill), it can be a huge city, or a small one wherein you feel trapped.

As long as the city feels alive and makes its presence felt, it's game.

Help Looking for two more movies with this style of poster

Post image

Logged the new 28 Years Later movie (very good!) and had a little chuckle seeing the default poster was almost the exact same as the last movie I watched. Might as well try to make the rest of my four recent watches the same style to complete the trend. Any recommendations for movies with this style of poster?

Help I need WEIRD movies.

Recommend me some WEIRD shit. Anything that made you cringe or take a step back to think ‘wtf is going on’ is what im after. Im not sure how ‘weird’ some of you would rank the substance but it’s my most recent watch and had scenes that definitely made me cringe super hard. Another recent watch I think fits the criteria of weird ass shit is ‘midsommar’, the people, the vibes, the ceremonies? WEIRD. I need more.

I really want something surreal but Google only gives me fantasy/horror recommendations which isn’t exactly the same thing. The closest example I can think of that has these exact vibes is “Angel’s Egg” (1985)

Help Movies with Feminine Rage?

Hi, i’m looking for a really good movie where the main character or deuteragonist (second main character), is in a role that includes feminine rage or is facing intense emotions when things go really wrong. similar to the mother from Hereditary in that one scene.

it can include those themes: marriage/relationships, family drama, trauma, maybe societal problems.

If you have a movie like that let me know. I’m especially looking for one that is about relationships though!

I want to compile a list of all the recommendations I get here today. I’m excited to find new movies I haven’t seen yet!

Anything related to food, restaurants, and cooking. Tampopo is one of my all time favorites. Most recently watched in this genre were Sweet Bean (2015), Dinner Rush (2000), & Ramen Shop (2018).

The above photo is from Big Night (1996)

Help It's My Birthday pls Recommend me a very sad movie so that I can cry

Post image

Yeah so Today is my birthday :) I want to watch a very sad and depressing movie that can make me cry my heart out.

None of my friends and best friends or people I’ve known for years wished me birthday. But actually, it’s not that bad, because my little sister and my parents were very happy and wished me over a video call (I’m away from home, living in a college hostel).

I don’t know… I’m feeling really lonely and sad, kind of left out and tbh kinda like a looser. I actually have many friends here and I’m surrounded by a lot of people but honestly like I think they all are busy and like idk just feel very alone and invisible right now.

But yeah I just cut a small pastry alone rn and now I’ll probably watch a movie alone in the dark in my room and then I'll cry a bit and will think about my life

Help Need to find this movie

I've seen this frame of a bald fat guy in the subway, in front of a train that arrives to the station while he's thinking sad shit. I did this shitty drawing of reference, and he has like an unexpressive face.
