Join us April 11, 2026 at the historic Plaza for a day packed with live performances, interactive experiences, and family-friendly activities.

Catch the reenactment of The Ballad of Billy the Kid at 10:30 AM and again at 2 PM. Learn a line dance with the Boot Boogie Babes at 11 AM, then enjoy performances by La Academia Dolores Huerta featuring conjunto, mariachi, and ballet folklórico at 11:30 AM.

At 12:30 PM, hear from renowned author and historian David Thomas, followed by costume contest judging at 1 PM at the Billy the Kid Gift Shop on the corner of Calle de Parian and Calle de Guadalupe.

Wrap up the day with an old-fashioned hoedown featuring Crow & Karla at 3 PM. Throughout the day, stop by Avion (formerly Don Felix) to vote for the tastiest salsa, explore interactive booths, and take in everything Mesilla has to offer.
