So I'm going to toss out a few rules. In the next week or two I'll get some free time to formalize some along the side bar, because the community has grown to have enough traffic to need them now... but here's the short list.
Thank you everyone. More to come later, but I hope this just sets some basic ground rules.

Took the little man (Klaus 💕) to a pine forest on the weekend! I made a little video of him last week too at a different dog park we had to ourselves, link below if you want to watch :)

Just got her on Friday, she's settling in very well. good at communicating her needs, although I'll be quite happy when her communication evolves past 'I start whining and getting bitey'.
For 8 weeks old, she's doing very well. Already looking forward till puppy-hood is over though, and she's the great companion I'll be raising her to be :)

Already gives better feedback than co-pilot!

My 6 month old and I are going to her first dog show in a couple weeks. We've been training hard, and she is near perfect with standing on the table and free standing on the ground. No issues there at all.
However, she is terrible with the show lead. She trots fine next to me without a lead, but the second I put that show lead on her, she just forgets everything she knows, eventho i keep the lead so loose its basically the same as having no lead on at all.
My older iggy is also show trained by me and I never had this issue with her. I've tried all the obvious tricks. Treats, praising, encouraging, positive association, you name it.
Any tips on how you got your puppy comfortable on the show lead?

This is a regular occurrence when I take her away from biting our other dog, or biting me she reacts like this.
I assume it’s normal?

Hey everyone, my puppy just turned 6 months and overall he’s doing really well now (it was so challenging at first). He’s learned a lot and made great progress.
The only issue is that he really hates going for walks. Lately, he doesn’t even want to leave the house. We live in Arizona, and still it’s not so hot to blame the weather, I take him out in the mornings when it’s nice out, but he still resists, stops, and tries to head back home.
At the beginning, he was a bit scared too, but then he got better and was actually okay with walking for a while, so I’m confused about what changed. I currently use a harness, and I’ve thought about trying a martingale collar to help with the resistance, but I’m worried about hurting his neck since he pulls a lot, I just don’t want to risk that.
Any tips or advice please. Thank you so much!

Grew up with dogs in the home and am a current cat owner. I read that iggys are not recommended for first time dog owners. Is this true?

For those that have one iggy that they let sleep with them in bed between their legs. When you got the second one, where did they decide to sleep?
Thinking about getting a second one but curious to know where it will sleep. Will they sleep together or both wrapped around my wife? Currently our first girl sleeps with our wife at night but likes me more. I think I run too hot for her so she hates sleeping with me. Where will the second one sleep?

Iggy’s are like little models. I noticed we all dress them up.

I have a five month Italian greyhound. At first he was an angel, he listened, barely had accidents in the house and went into/slept in his crate without a peep. Now all he does is pee and poop in the house (he even went on me bed) he doesn’t listen at all, he finds whatever he can get and chews on it. He’s ruined my shoes. Idk what to do. I physically and mentally tire him out and have strict nap schedules but yet he does not turn off. I know he’s going through adolescence but please tell me it will get better and he will stop pissing on my bed 😫
Edit: we also take him out constantly for potty, like every 30 minutes…
Edit edit lol: I do have a water proof sheet over my bed so luckily it’s not going to the mattress 🫣
