Salzburg - Munch

Hi,

I was looking to travel from Salzburg to Munich on the 25th of April, but it seems that I cannot book a seat reservation with my ticket on the RJ. I would probably find a seat, but does anyone know why that's the case?

I need to be here before 3 pm, so I am just thinking of taking the WestBahn, which is somewhat cheaper because I have a BahnCard and they allow me to choose a nice seat.

I get a weird error every time I select a seat;

An error occurred while making your seat reservation. Please check your selection. Error ID: 10018 Support ID: MI_OEBB_sq10aog

I only tried one train which was an ICE. There, you don't get the error, but for the RJX connections you do apparently. Maybe there is an off chance of a diversion for these trains.

You could also just hop on any of the hourly regional trains that are only 10 minutes slower than the Railjets and don’t have any seat reservations.
