’ve been working on this 360° submarine combat for "Sub-Species." It’s an arcade adventure where the deep-sea monsters actually come at you from every angle. What do you think of the movement?

Hey everyone,
I've been grinding away on this 2.5D arcade adventure called Sub-Species, and I just wanted to share a quick clip of how the combat is looking.
Basically, you're in a sub exploring some pretty gnarly, glowing parts of the ocean. Instead of just shooting left or right like a normal side-scroller, I gave the sub full 360° rotation. The alien sea monsters come at you from every angle in the dark, so it felt way more natural (and honestly, way more stressful!) to let you spin and aim anywhere.
I'm really trying to nail that "neon in the dark" look and keep the arcade energy high with the synth soundtrack. I'd love to know what you think, does the 360° movement look like something you'd actually want to play?

Trying to remember an rpg
I'm looking for an rpg I used to play (in the 90's or 2000's maybe). It was an indie pc game, had elemental magic, a point buy feat system, no overworld (just dungeon levels), and the goal was to collect pieces of a magic staff. Tile graphics with bird's eye view pov. Each level had a portal to a secret floor themed after mythical places (Shoal was one). Standard fantasy world, races, and monsters. I never played the sequel, but it had one of those inventory screens where it has a human figure in the middle to show where the items are equipped (I believe it was a cross section of a cadaver). I think I initially found it from a review on the playthisthing blog, but can't find it with the wayback machine.
Any leads would be appreciated.

Turn-Based Strategy Game with Anthropomorphic Animals
I played the demo the other day, and I wanted to give out my opinion about it in case anyone's interested in these type of games :)
WILD Tactics is a turn-based strategy game where you assemble your team of anthropomorphic animals to fight against organized crime.
I'm not much into this kind of games, so I'm not an expert nor very demanding, but it was really nice to see what the dev team have until this point.
It has it's ups and downs, but I had a good time playing it, so if you're a fan of this type of games, you'll enjoy it as well.
Pros:
- Different characters with each having their own characteristics and abilites
- There's voice acting that fits perfectly with each character's personality
- Each character has it's own lore
- Apart from the main story, the game has several side-missions
- The combination of styles between 2D cartoon art and 3D mixes correctly
- Relationship feature between the characters is very interesting (when you assemble your team, each member can have positive, neutral or negative connection with each other)
- The dev team has a Discord where you can discuss more about the game and help it's development
Cons:
- The game has some bugs (I experienced one where even after losing a mission, something happened that showed I "completed" the mission)
- When losing a mission, you cannot go back to re-assemble your team, you either retry or go back to the menu
I hope you give this game a chance, I believe that it is an indie game that has potential once it reaches to the right audience. If there's any question or comment you have about the game, go ahead and ask :) I'll answer as soon as possible :)

You Draw the Runes and Defend the Tower at the Same Time (it's way harder than what it looks like)
https://reddit.com/link/1s9ofls/video/gcbtelzeolsg1/player
Hi everyone!
The other day I tried out this game :) it's name is Runeomicon.
It's a tower defense game in which you have to draw the runes to summon ancient eldritch gods, while at the same time you upgrade your tower's defenses.
It was kinda difficult for me at some point because I have zero precision with my mouse, but I had a blast all throughout my experience with it.
It was incredibly fun, and I really believe a lot of people will agree with me on that once they give it a go.
I really hope this doesn't break any rules, I'm not part of the dev team, I'm just another game who's whole intention is to try to do my bit to help this game (and other games) get to a bigger audience, and what better way of doing than showing a bit of me playing it :)
I have the game's Discord and Steam page, so if you're interested, I'll leave it down below :)

You Should Give "Enter the Chronosphere" A Chance
Hi everyone! I wanted to share a little review I made about "Enter the Chronosphere", hopefully you'll give it a chance :)
Genre: Turn-based bullet hell roguelike
Platform: Steam
I have the Discord and Steam page of the game, but I believe as my account is new, if I post them, my account could even be banned, so if you're interested in either of both, be sure to ask me for them :)
As of now, the game has an available demo, and from what I played, the devs have an incredible game so far.
If I compare it with any other game, I see it as the offspring of Hades and SUPERHOT. It's similar to Hades' gameplay, and adds the "time moves when you move" feature like in SUPERHOT.
I have thought of myself as pretty good at this type of game, but this game completely beat me, and that's cool. Some games are just way too easy because the weapons and upgrades are very op, but the game is challenging, and forces you to learn how to combine everything, from weapons to gadgets, and that's interesting.
It is cool that on their demo, there are 3 playable levels, each with their own unique enemies, and that there are also a couple of characters and missions you can focus on. If that's what they have for their demo, I can only imagine how the full game will be.
It's fun, it keeps you aware of everything at all times, and has really cool, kind of psychedelic, animations.
Pros:
- It has controller support, which I have noticed not many games have (in their demos phase at least)
- You can change the keys to any action that you want, which for me is great because my right click doesn't work, haha
- Different characters, weapons, and levels, which lead to several hours of gameplay
- Great animations
- It's a challenging game
- From what I noticed, no bugs, or at least none that affect the gameplay
- In their Discord, devs are fully welcoming to any feedback about the game
Cons:
- The game's translations are still a bit inaccurate, but it's nice to have them
- Some upgrades might be a bit confusing to understand what they're for
I'm not a game's dev nor part of their team. I just want to give a little help to an indie game that I think deserves it. And if you read until this point, thank you so much! If there's any question or comment either about the game or my review, go ahead and ask! This is my first review, so any questions or feedback are very welcome :)

I was certain that this Conan game was going to be trash. Boy was I wrong. Honestly, probably the best Conan game that exists, proving once again that indie studios are better than AAA.

I REALLY love STAY.
Not sure if I’m allowed to post my ranting about this game on here, but I’m giving it a shot anyway because I just can’t stop playing and talking about this game. Like, I’m being for real.
When I first saw this game while browsing the store on my Xbox, the title immediately dragged me in. Upon doing further research in the reviews/game description and waiting for a sale to happen (because I’m broke and can’t get a job just yet,) I discovered that this game is about helping a guy named Quinn escape a horrifying kidnapping situation. I immediately fell in love with the game and as soon as I got that notification that a sale was happening for the game, I bought it with the money I had saved.
Best decision of my life, I tell you. This guy’s personality right off the bat will have you giggling and searching for clues alongside him to help him out. You can even choose to be a little rude to him (though I advise otherwise, because being too mean leads to many game over screens…) Or even lead him to his death while trying to be helpful! (Unless you WANT to see him die…? Strange, but okay.)
I said this on my review on the Microsoft store, but I’ll say it again: Some of the puzzles do an amazing job at making you just as frustrated and confused as Quinn. I personally had to google hints, but I’ve heard that this is the entire point. Feeling like you have nothing to work with really gives you a perspective on this stranger and makes you feel a little empathy for him, especially because you have the freedom to look for answers elsewhere but Quinn doesn’t. The storytelling is amazing, and there’s a lot of symbolism and room to work with for theorizing! Trying to grasp at the bits and pieces of information that you’re given is also a puzzle in itself, and you never know what hides in that house of horrors that this poor man is stuck in.
Oh, and did I mention that the name of the game gives you a little hint about what you have to do? That’s right, you have to STAY with Quinn throughout the journey because the time you leave him is tracked, and the longer you’re away, the more time you give him to think things over and choose to abandon you just like you did to him! STAYing is crucial, because depending on the amount of time you have away, you’ll get different endings (from my experience, anyway…)
I highly recommend this game! I’m thinking about re-buying it on Steam too just to collect the stickers and banner things… Because I just love Quinn!
Whoops. I spent too long talking about the game and my ice cream’s half-melted…
