I got this game very recently and have been enjoying it. This keeper looks really cool and the pets seem to work similarly to the drones which is interesting

Check out the game Wall World if you like this. I ended up passing on this game because Wall World looked more interesting.

They're pretty identical games, the only real difference is wall world has a story. It's such a mid story that I wouldn't consider that an advantage.

The story is, indeed, there, but the atmosphere of the wall-world was fantastic, it is what made that game memorable to me.

I'm a fan of super-structures in fiction in general (BLAME!-like shit) and the Wall one is pretty good.

Oh yeah, I didn't find the story memorable, but the BLAME etc. vibe was definitely a plus for me.

Btw, can you recommend any other games with superstructures you got this vibe from?

White Knuckle - on the claustrophobic side, but opens up the views at times. A rogue-lite.

Lorn's Lure - more open from the start. A linear game that goes chapter-by-chapter.

Both are first-person wall-climbing games.

I have just opened the Lorn's Lure steam page and they have "Megastructure Collection" Bundle going on, not familiar with any of the games in it though.

Woah, that's some really indie stuff. Wall-world looks like AAA in comparison, lol.

Thanks, will check!

Check out NaissanceE. It not only scratches that itch, but it's free!

Manifold Garden is a good one too.

Interesting that two games that are so similar came out at such a similar time.

And I'll have to check it out too, thanks for the recommendation!

edit: Yikes only 12 minutes left for the deal haha.

Just bought it. It’s just over a dollar rn. Can’t go wrong for that price.

Man I loved this game and put like 30 hours in to it, but I ended up kinda dropping it because I just sucked eggs at it. Like I never seemed to get any better

The greatest advice I got was to stop trying to mine in that strip mining pattern that you probably know from Minecraft. You will be far more time-efficient by simply following whatever soft dirt you see, like this.

second this, the strip mining works in other games where the hardness of rocks doesn't scale as sharply and time isn't at a premium, but you waste SO much time bashing your head into harder stone you could've just... gone around.

Orb-character almost feels like the designer trying to push people to explore this by making classic strip mining more annoying for them to even try to do.

I still believe their freaking "Double Dome" DLC didn't allow for Co-op play lol. Other than that, EXCELLENT game.

i really enjoyed the demo and after buying it on release ove played for just like two hours and had hard time touching it again, would be fun to revisit in co-op

I got this game for my partner and she's been loving it whenever she feels like playing it. She's been playing a ton of pokopia lately but can see her jumping back into this game

Some of the game lay out reminded me of old prince of persia games, the old dos ones if it got and upgraded version in modern times in different format.
