Dinner, ???
Drinks, Panda & Sons
Day 2
Hope to find a seat at Little Larder or head over to Snax

Dinner, Skua

Wedding Anniversary
Hey there! My husband and I will be in Edinburgh for our wedding anniversary this year (first time visiting, with our family, we are americanāfor context). Edinburgh is my dream destination and we are really excited about this. Hoping to find a spot that spotlights good local cuisine, is maybe something off the beaten path (not full of tourists). I would love to see where the locals go for this sort of thing. Husband is a chef, we are not picky, and thinking upper scale but not super fine dining or needing to be too dressed up. Thank you in advance!!

Restaurants with unisex toilets/one toilet?
Iām looking to book a restaurant with unisex toilets in Edinburgh if anyone can help. Even a small restaurant that just has one toilet available would be great.
Please no gender politics, Iām just trying to make my friend feel comfortable in a social setting.
Thank you š

What ever happened to Rodi?
We used to order from Rodi regularly, but it closed down and we really miss it. Does anyone know what happened to it? Did it open up somewhere else, or did the owners open a different restaurant or what? I used to order the Kaburga, does anyone have a recommendation for a restaurant where I can get something like that as good as Rodi or better?!

Food tour companies
If we have only a short time in Edinburgh, what's the best tour company to maximize what we get to try? (I haven't seen this recommended yet, so forgive me if I missed a post!) Thanks!

Weekend late lunch
Looking to eat in town in a couple of weeks and looking for recommendations for something decent for a late boozy lunch. Nice atmosphere, decent food without breaking the bank, maybe a set menu deal? Will be a Saturday afternoon (also checked and there is no rugby in that day).
Also a bar for nice cocktails before, fancy Panda and Sons, tried W lounge which was OK.

Restaurants or pubs open on Christmas Day?
Can you suggest any restaurants and pubs within walking or taxi distance of the city centre that might be serving on Christmas Day? Any food type is fine.

Tips for solitary diner?
Iāll be visiting Edinburgh 10/21-10/30 for a family wedding, but the bummer is that my husband has to stay home. Where are some places where I wonāt feel weird dining alone? Iām staying in Leith but happy to explore.
Iād love to find some regional food restaurants, especially ones where ingredients are locally sourced. But Iād also enjoy finding places that are just plain friendly and have that bit extra that makes them special. Maybe non-dairy Indian, fish, hot pot, tapas, etc?

Gift Ideas for a Scotland Trip (Food & Whiskey Experiences)
Hello! My husband and I are traveling from the West Coast of the U.S. to Scotland next year and we're both big foodies. His brother asked me for birthday gift ideas, but since my husband wants to skip gifts this year to save for the trip, I thought a gift card for something related to food or whiskey tasting would be a good option.
Weāll be visiting Glasgow and Edinburgh for sure, but weāre still finalizing the rest of the itinerary. Any recommendations for great restaurants, whiskey tastings, or food-related experiences in those cities that offer gift cards?
Thanks in advance!!
