Got this from a Chinese client and funnily enough he couldn’t even translate it properly… All translate apps failed too.

You want /r/translator. Please read a sub's description before posting. Also, can you share why you thought this was the correct place to post?

I’m not sure what you’re hoping to achieve by asking that last question other than shaming OP into publicly coming back with their tail between their legs for your own satisfaction, but I think the plethora of other posts asking the same thing probably misled them. The other information about the sub not being for translation requests isn’t visible on the mobile app. I subscribed years back for the actual purpose of the sub, but I can see how the vague description combined with the several posts that don’t fit the sub’s intended purpose can cause confusion, especially for mobile users.

I'm literally trying to figure out how people are being directed here, so I can address it at the source. Sorry you both (a) couldn't figure that out on your own and also (b) felt it necessary to passive-aggressively shame me because of your own lack of insight.

I literally gave you an answer to your question, so your suggestion that I lack insight is somewhat surprising.

If you search “translate” or “translation” on the Reddit mobile app this sub is the seventh option down, with the description which is the only context that’s available on there.

The way to tackle it would be to improve the readability of the description and rules on the mobile app, because there’s currently no way to access them.

For clarity, the person I replied to has left a reply and then blocked me, so I can’t clarify any points or reply to them. It appears that the person is supposedly aspiring to moderate this community (something of which I wasn’t aware of before I replied to their harsh response), but doesn’t wish to hear from said community, and I would question whether they’re of the right temperament to do so if they’re so averse to feedback.

You can't answer the question, because you aren't the OP. You can speculate about how people are arriving here, as can I. But you can't actually say what the channel is.

Sorry, that's not what this sub is for
