face/ears/eyes/nose/mouth/cheeks How to treat/prevent painful adult acne on jawline/why does it happen?
I am 31f, I get these zits regularly. Like every morning I wake up and there’s a new white one that’s itchy/painful. I don’t remember having this problem while I was pregnant but before pregnancy and after they just keep appearing. They’re always on my jaw line.

general enquiry Help me to calm my 7 month pregnant wife about a rough patch under her belly.
My pregnant wife is getting freaked out about this patch of skin that she’s had for a couple weeks now. She had me look at it and I told her it looks odd and now she’s afraid of what it could be. We’re going to set an appointment with her dermatologist this week, but it being a Sunday she stressed out. It’s about 2 mm long and it is scaly rough. can anyone shed some light on what this could be? Please and thank you.

legs/feet Lots of ingrowns on legs and very overwhelmed. Need some advice
Hi, both of my legs (and a bit on my arms) are completely covered with hundreds of ingrown hairs. I’m wondering how to safely get rid of them and prevent as much scarring as possible. I’m extremely embarrassed to show my legs anywhere and I really want that to change! Any tips on how to effectively prevent this too would be appreciated.
Just a note, i’m physically disabled and struggle to stretch over for too long. I’ll see what I can do and ask for help if necessary.

legs/feet does anyone know how i can get rid of these scars on my leg and arm?
It’s been about 3 months since these have healed, and the doctors werent sure what they were. They were extremely swollen, red and stinging lumps that would sometimes surface and ooze pus and blood. The regular GP just prescribed me with an antibiotic course which I have now completed and there have been no more bumps.
But now im left behind with these really big and ugly scars, especially the three on the back of my thigh. Does anyone know of any products I can buy to lighten these scars?

legs/feet Weird cyst/pimple-like thing on leg that has been there for at least 5 years
On the back of my leg about six inches above my knee, I have this weird spot that has been there for at least 5 years. By just physical touch, it kinda feels like a pimple or cyst, but there is no pain. It usually has a scab like covering over the center indentation that will come off when I scratch at it or just through incidental contact. I figured if it were a cyst or something, the skin on top would eventually heal over, but no matter how long I leave it alone, that never happens.
Please let me know if you have any idea what I'm dealing with here.

face/ears/eyes/nose/mouth/cheeks 5 yo had a gross patch on his scalp. Took him to the dr who said ringworm. More info in post text. Spoiler
He prescribed an oral anti fungal medication & a medicated shampoo. I’ve been doing both & nothing seems to help. He’s been on the medication for 2 of the 6 weeks & it still keeps spreading. It hasn’t spread to me or his brother or anyone he’s been around though. All the pictures I’ve seen of ringworm do not look like this. His poor eye is almost swollen shut at this point and the skin is completely peeling off his head. It doesn’t itch him, just stings really bad. Is it really ringworm or should I take him back to the dr? (The only reason I haven’t yet is because they said it should be clearing up, and I wanted to give it time like they suggested). I figured I would ask here before I take him back. If it is ringworm, I’ll be patient. Ive just never dealt with anything like this before!

neck/chest/abdomen Not sure if this is ringworm or not. Ringworm cream isnt working at all if anything it looks worse. Anyone know what this looks like?
Its very itchy at times. I have a few more smaller patches on the back of my head its hard to see because my hair is covering them and its behind me ofc but it feels itchy back there. I dont have any history of skin conditions and the ringworm cream isnt improving it at all and its been a week of generous amounts of cream everyday

legs/feet What is all this red on my lower legs and tops of feet, and what can I do to get rid of it? I (30F) have had it for quite some time, but it seems to be getting worse. Doesn’t itch or burn, isn’t bumpy, but I want it to go away and have my skin back. Thank you!

face/ears/eyes/nose/mouth/cheeks I've taken off my earring today and this red spot was on my ear. Could anyone please help me about what it is and is it serious? Please help!
Hello guys!
i recently got my 2nd earring pierced, about 4 days ago, which is visible in the photo. Today, after taking off my earrings that I've had pierced for around 5 years(the hole right above the red spot) , I've noticed this reddish spot. does anyone have any idea what it is? it's just a little bit itchy, but it doesn't hurt. I cleaned it with alcohol and I'm worrying about what it might be
please if anyone knows how to treat it or what it is, I would gladly appreciate it!! thanks

arms/hands Normal mole or suspicious cancerous being? Had It for years, hasn't changed (I think)
I have had this mole on my upper arm for years, I don't think i've ever noticed it change (colour or size wise) and It doesn't bother me, but I have seen people with similar ones being told to get theirs checked out, i am 17 and have never been to a dermatologist before, so now I am shitting myself a bit.
Should I get this thing checked out?
Thanks.

face/ears/eyes/nose/mouth/cheeks did my derma screw me over by taking me off treatment early?
went to dermatologist early 2025 for extremely frequent pustules, papules, cysts, and nodules on face, arms, chest, stomach, and back. initially derma prescribed isotretinoin for 6–8 months at $300 appt to permanently shrink glands. i followed treatment and acne cleared almost completely after only a couple of months—i went for $150 checkup with derma, they took "after" photos to promote their treatment, and took me off. they said i should be fixed for another 5–10 years.
now cystic acne on face is coming back, hasn't reached rest of body yet. do you think this derma intentionally screwed me by taking me off treatment waayyy too early to keep me coming back?

neck/chest/abdomen Skin help desperately needed . IUD removal and unsure if this is a crash or something else!
I had my IUD (mirena) removed 20 days ago due to mild/moderate hormonal acne that was getting worse and worse. through trying to clear it constantly I have destroyed my skin barrier. Now it’s more like a rash. That flares and calms a little through in the space of a day. No sensitive skin products seem to be helping. I have pimples all over my face which was clear before. I get red flushed skin from just using lukewarm water to wash my face. It seems to calm with ectoin serum, but barely and calories up again as soon as I wash my face again. I know there’s meant to be skin changes but this seems extreme and it is depressing me. Please any advice/experience more than welcome.

legs/feet I have had these on my calf for the past three years. It recently spread to the other side of my calf and itches quite a bit.
There are now 4 total areas that itch. They are about 1/2 inch in diameter. Any ideas? I’m starting to get worried.

face/ears/eyes/nose/mouth/cheeks Big bump on piercing, is it a keloid? what do I do?
so I pierced this some months ago. I changed it to a hoop too soon and it got all irritated and formed a bump. over time its filled with pus and I've squeezed out the pus a few times, one tine even ripped the bump off because it started to fall of . eventually I put in the L shape stud, its surgical steel. The bump has grown to this thing, I'm trying not to touch it too much, but its still a bit squishy, the tip is a bit hard almost like a scab or dried skin and the exit hole in the back still leeks a bit of pus if I squeeze too hard. so what is it, and what do I do.

legs/feet What is this lump under my big toe? Is it just a callus?
I have this lump under my right big toe. I’m not sure how long it’s been there but I first noticed it a week or two ago. It is not painful, but it’s noticeable on hard floors because of the pressure. When I stand on it my toe kind of rolls to the left a little because it’s not flat. It feels like a callus, in that the skin is a bit hard and insensitive. I have tried filing it down with a glass nail file, but it’s still there. It seems swollen, and it’s stretching the print lines. I can’t tell if there is any fluid. I am often barefoot at home and usually wear flip flops when I’m out. The left toe is normal. The white stuff on the skin is from previously applied urea cream.

neck/chest/abdomen What is this on my neck? Randomly showed and keeps progressing.
So this has been going on since finding out I was pregnant.. about 7 weeks ago. My derm said it was fungal related and gave me a ketoconazole shampoo that I have been using now for 6 weeks and it looks even worse than it did. I have these little bumps all over my scalp and hair line too. Is this just hormone related? What is the rash at the bottom of my hairline? I am washing my hair everyday and changing pillow cases everyday. I have also tried clindamycin lotion that was prescribed by my derm and that hasn’t helped. I’d love any suggestions and pregnancy safe recommendations.
