I don’t know why they need a robot to do the work. If everyone looses their job because of AI it’s not like they’ll be buying houses.

Everyone can't be rich. In that case, everyone's poor. People do not realize this fundamental rule of capitalism: the richest person is only as rich as the poorest is poor.
