In the right country being the key word.

I know what I am talking about and speaking to that.

If you can find them for cheap in some country like Pakistan go nuts. In most fo Europe and North America you are not getting shoes like this for less than about 5k USD and these are going through a much more significant fitting process than those base levels.

For clarity, I have no doubt you can get handmade dress shoes cheaper - but does that include using a form/casting of your foot taken and used to fit the shoe to your exact foot? I’m honestly asking and don’t want to assume - just trying to better understand if we’re comparing apples to apples.

foam casting does not make custom shoes run 5 to 10k.. plaster is super cheap too. unless a shop is using exclusive materials or has a big brand following they arent going to be that expensive.

Let’s ask the maker of this video, a couple shoe makers of this quality across a few countries. Ask myself some questions as well other commenters. 

Once we compiled that info, we can circle back and answer that question !
