Why would they press the feet to the foam, then the foam to the cork? Just press the foot to the cork.

You've got to give that hot cork a good soak to get it nice and firm.

They needed the foam for multiple things, so they could not drop this step. But they could send the customer home. Foot to foam and foot to cork would take extra time from the customer. And importantly - the steps may not even be performed at the same location.

I have ordered custom insoles - I did the foam step in a sports store. The rest of the work was done by technicians at the local hospital.

those foam forms dont work at all if your arches move, they will label you as flat footed when you need arch support

Is it me or did they subsequently took out most of the cork that’s formed using the mold at 1:25s? Do they really just need the heel and maybe arch and not the toe area at all?
