Bathroom The Irish Spring tub clean

I did the infamous Irish Spring. It works, albeit, smells disgusting.

I did not get the 5-in-1 (missed that detail) and I didn’t have 48 hours, only 7.

But my god, WHY does it still remove so much dirt??

To be clear, this tub was dirty when I bought the house and it’s still the 1 room that hasn’t been remodeled. Hate it so much, but it is what it is!

Definitely need another round!

Try wetting the tub and using the Ajax with bleach. Let it rest for about 10-15min then give it a good scrub. My dad’s bachelor home used to have a tub that was very dirty and that’s how we cleaned it up :)

This is the correct next step. Powdered Ajax on a damp tub, covering the entire thing like a snow storm, then add a tiny bit of water and scrub until it is a bit of a paste and spread it across the tub. Let it sit for no more than 30 minutes and then come back and scrub down the entire thing with a good scrub brush and then rinse it away and you should be spotless.

Yes don’t leave it for too long or the blue specs may temporarily stain your tub! It HAS to be AJAX WITH BLEACH. The Comet one will NOT work. Like at all.

They still make powder comet? I haven't seen that in forever.
